CJ's ability to play all 9 positions, especially to catch in a pinch, could put he and Flowers on this team so AJ or Flowers could DH/pinch hit and catch as Ozzie does not like to lose the backup catcher.

That Bronco O line is sick. Killer Kyle literally sat back there for 10 seconds on a couple of plays. Yes the football stupid will be on the radio all day.

Watch the Bears o-line on sweeps if you are looking for further proof that they are really bad. They get out there but other than taking up space, serve no purpose.

The Pace f'up was bad but nowhere in the league of Ron Turner who seems unable to figure out to score from the red zone. The Earl Bennett OPI was worse. Matt Forte looks terrible. Even when he has holes there is no explosion why there wasn't another back signed is beyond me. How this team feels they can carry just Forte and Wolfe is beyond me. Why does the NFL treatthe Turner brothers so well? Have either accomplished anything?

The bigger problem is that the banks are double dipping. You pay interest usually over 20% on the overdraft funds as well as the fee. Citibank hit me with the fee and I was unaware of it as they instituted the policy out of nowhere. I move the money from an interest bearing account to my 0% interest checking account weekly. Now every time I go over I get charged $10.

Mark Kotsay hits the Cyification type pitchers (i.e. Cyasaurus from Seattle and Trevor Cahill). He is a good LH platoon bat off the bench that can play four positions.

I do not think Thome will be back. I think the Sox want to carry additional flexability and want a guy that can DH and play the field. Possibly carry three catchers, Flowers, AJ and a defensive guy.

If the DH is an actual position player unlike Thome and Thomas were, then three catchers can be had if one can be a servicable DH. The rotation next year should allow for as little as 11 pitchers as all 5 guys should be able to go 6 or 7 nightly...assuming the offense can score a little more than this year.

If Verlander has to pitch Sunday, any chance the Tigers had in the first playoff series is gone unless they bring him back early.

I will say this again, Mark Kotasay will be the 2010 version of Ellis Burks.....herm'll fix him. I have no issue with Pods, Kotsay and a good RH bat off the bench to work for one spot a game.

I think they split the next two, the Sox take 2 of 3 and the Twins take 2 of 3. Twins lose by a game.

That could end up hurting the Pirates in front of an arbitor not help them. You get to argue your case. The Duke camp could use an argument that his numbers would be higher if the gold glove centerfielder was still with the team as well as the lead-off hitter and what not. Duke will be traded before the start of next season anyway.

I want the Twins to win they will not spend more money even if they do win. The Tigers payroll may go up if they make a nice playoff run which they could with Verlander. How do the Twins win with such s***ty pitching.
