QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Aug 10, 2009 -> 11:14 PM) Castro should have thrown out Wilson by 5 feet and Floyd should have made a better pitch that is why this game sucks right now. They took the lead and pissed it away. Castro hit now do something. Pods quickly coming back down to earth man does this team love to swing at anythign close.

What and the f*** pitch was that a belt high center cut batting practice pitch...on 0-2 come on give me a f***ing break and it's 3-0 Floyd should not be in this game by the way. Need to pull him now before there is a steal of second.

QUOTE (aprec32 @ Aug 10, 2009 -> 10:58 PM) Why? To get it to Castro? To try and get a better pitch to hit. No need to swing just because it is a strike and Floyd about to give it right back...think Griff will try and steal

QUOTE (GordoTheGreat @ Aug 10, 2009 -> 10:39 PM) We better touch the French boy up for some runs, he's hardly overpowering. Left handed and not overpowering completely befuddle Dye, Thome and Konerko

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 10, 2009 -> 10:31 PM) Jeez...walking the #9 hitter before Ichiro. Way too many walks from our starters lately. I would like to see the OBP of 7-9 hitters compared to 3-5 hitters against White Sox pitching.

QUOTE (CWSOX45 @ Aug 10, 2009 -> 10:25 PM) Don't care. I know this team can come through in the end when all is said and done. I have faith in them because of what happened last year. Granted they don't make it easy on themselves, but in both 2005 and 2008 it looked like all hope was lost, and they came through. Ozzie knows how to get through to his guys, and if anything they're pressing because they know they're in a pennant race. I'm quite aware we can't hit for s*** in the later innings, that wasn't my point. My point is is that you can't get worked up day in and day out. It's a pennant race, enjoy it. Just be glad you're not a Royals/Indians/Mets fan at this point. It's amusing to me how everyone overreacts after we lose 1 to 2 games. We just came off a homestand where we took 3 of 4 from the Yankees, 2 of 3 from the Angels, and 1 of 3 of the Indians. If you were to tell me that after that homestand we would go on the road with a 6-4 record, I'd take it in a heartbeat. I am not trying to be overly negative with this but they are 57-55 and people are talking about how guys may be miffed that they are making moves. Buerhle when they got Peavy and now Dye when they get Rios. It seems like this team really thinks they are better than what they are and Guillen seems overly complacent as well. Sometimes I feel that winning is not as important as it should be especially recently with some really bad fundamental mistakes.

QUOTE (CWSOX45 @ Aug 10, 2009 -> 10:16 PM) That does appear to be the trend this season, but anything can happen. Even if we lose tonight, it's not the end of the world. Although I'd prefer to get the first two with King Felix on the mound Wednesday. I am sadly hoping for a 3-3 road trip.....
