The other thing in my mind is that if this team is going to stay in the race, can Beckham be at third and Ramirez at short. If Jake Fox is a bad 3B, what is Gordon Beckham. I think Ramirez needs to go to center, Beckham short and Fields or Nix at third.

Wise and Beckham had bad at-bats you need to make a guy who can't throw strikes, throw strikes.

Thorton is throwing well. If Pena comes in so be it...Wood is pretty good except against the cub. Ramirez needed to have a better game but he had a nice game yesterday.
