I was at the game last night (my second pre-season game this season, how pathetic). The fight was sweet AD was just defending himself and Curry's "low blow" was definitely dirty. At first I thought he just jumped in there and gave him a shot in the gut, but the replay showed otherwise. Great game to be at. The crowd showed a lot of excitement (Especially when we won free big macs). However, I am not going to get excited about this team. They are extremely young and they played a sloppy game. Not to mention the Wizards really suck.

You would think he would want about what Konerko makes. I would like to see him on the South Side, but I doubt they are going to sign a guy for that much unless it was a #3+ starting pitcher. Who knows what the hell they will do. KW and JR are full of surprises.

My point was that they would be looking for guys that are speedy contact hitters. I didn't say third base. What i mean is they will just keep Crede and use money to get a CF or a SS. Someone who can get on base and possibly lead off.

I'm not sure, but isn't Lowell and little slow of foot? The Sox would have a Konerko on each side of the infield if they got Lowell. I like Lowell, but I don't think he fits into the new philosophy of getting speedy contact hitters.
