  1. Them: 5th Place Us: 1st Place
  2. No problem. I finally sold them. Thanks anyway.
  3. No interest? Anyone interested please make me an offer. I will even deliver them to you as long as you are in the Chicago area.
  4. I have to go to a wedding on that Saturday Fireworks Night, so I can't use these tickets. With fees and everything they cost me $32 each and the face is $28. I will part with them for $25 a piece. I have 6 total tickets. Section 103 Row 13 Seats 6-11. If you are interested or know anybody that is send me a message or email me at fpetritis@sccm.org
  5. At the Urinal during Mark Prior's first start ever, a group of Cub fans were trying to come up with a nick name for Prior and in all seriousness said this: "How about Marky Mark and the Funky Cub Bunch!?" :knob
  6. I think they are 5-2 when I go this year. I remember last year they were bad at games I went to to start the season but they ended up 22-11 in games I went to. They are 6-3 if you count the games i attended in St. Pete's. Oh, I went to Fraiday and Sunday against the Twin.
  7. Tonight I have Club tickets, tomorrow I can't go, and Sunday I will be tailgating and scalping a cheap one.
  8. I heard on the Score that maggs is not in the lineup for game one and they said something about a sore toe. I wonder if he is out for both games or just the first one.

I need one that works!!! Please help!
  11. Just an attempt to make it look like since he was a Sox fan outside of Wrigley, he provoked the shooting.
  12. Name the game this year and I'll buy you your damn beer!
  13. I guess I take it for granted that as long as I have some cash in my pocket I can just hop on the "L" and go to a game anytime they are home. All of you who have not been need to get out there ASAP! The park, especially with the new renovations, is great! Make sure you get to section 111 a buy a steak pita. Very good.
  14. My dad always took me to Sox games when i was little. He would pull me out of school for Opening Day every year. Since 1983 I have been to every home opener. My aunt and cousins tried to convert me to be a Cub fan, but I wasn't having it. I have footage on VHS where I was at a Pirates/Cub game when I was about 10. I made the cameras during the 7th inning stretch and there I was wearing a Pirates Jersey cheering against the hated Cub. I was raised right. I can't get enough White Sox baseball. Over the last 5 seasons I have been to approximately 130 Sox games. Two years ago I started a tradition of seeing the Sox on the road once a year. I have been to Boston, Cleveland, and Tampa Bay for Sox games. When I have kids they will be Sox fans or they will get a beating.
  15. must be those renovations bringing the fans in

There is a great spot on Canal St where you can park for $10. Only a 5 minute walk to the park from there and in a nice neighborhood. You'll pass by Jimbo's on the way in and out.
  17. My nephew's tee-ball team last year was the Cub. Needless to say I told him that I could not attend any of his games. This year he is on the Indians, while still bad, I think I can go and see them play. :fthecubs
  18. Has Carlos always moved the bat around that much when he is at the plate? He looks a little different up there. Not to mention he yanks one foul and deep every at bat. He needs to wait on the slow stuff better.
  19. That sight is TOTALLY AWESOME and TOTALLY SWEET!
  20. It was the same way last year. Everyone thought 84 games could win the division and Minn. won 90. I think 88-92 will win the division.
  21. SouthSider, Kerry Wood is on the table. Just looking for a taker. :puke
  22. Good luck. I remember when i was about 10 yrs old or so and my seats were right next to the Sox bullpen at Old Comiskey and I asked Carlton for his autograph: me- "Mr. Fisk, can I have your autograph" Fisk- "No." me- "Why not?" Fisk- "because I don't feel like it" I have hated that f***er ever since. He used to be my favorite player.

I know it's early, but it is already obvious that the Sox screwed up by counting on Harris to do anything. The guy just cannot hit major league pitching. Another AAAA player.
  24. This team could really use Roberto Alomar. His average over the past few seasons has gone down, but the guy could get on base and works the count to give the other hitters an idea of what they are going to see at the dish. Damn shame. :banghead
  25. My beers started going down a lot faster after Mendy hit his shot. I like the message to the team. Go get f***ed up and don't worry about it. There are 161 left. Come back on Wednesday with a chip on your shoulder.
