There are usually a few guys that hang around outside the "L" that have good seats for sale. Their prices usually are not bad, but with the Sox in first and a big crowd planned for tonight, they may bump them up a little.

Yeah, I suppose...although it takes a special brand of alcoholic ( coffcoff*Maury*coffcoff ) to get s***ty on a "school night"... It's unavoidable, I guess - big crowd = bigger # of assholes... Every other team draws huge crowds and don't have brawls every day. I hate to say it, but see Cubs fans. Ya they are drunk as hell, but at least they aren't trashballs starting fights Big crowds is no reason for the number of fights i saw last night. I've never heard of them selling standing room only...but wouldn't you rather being standing in the outfield then sitting in the upper deck? It kind of stinks that fans holding UD tickets can't walk around the lower concourse anymore. You would not be able to stand in the upperdeck. The concourse is blocked by the stands. You can't see until you get through the tunnel. The Sox don't sell standing room.

Hopefully the white sox fans will keep the rest of the come-latelys in order. Also on that list, if you catch a HR ball from an opposing player, KEEP THE DAMNED THING! there isn't going to be any HR's from opposing players.....right? Well with Mike Sweeney Sox-Killa extrodinaire playing you never know As long as Koch stays on his seat in the BP the likelyhood of a HR is a lot less. Do us a favor, if he even so much as sets foot in the upper level of the pen, hit him with something really, really hard. He definitely is in reach of my seat. I will at least yell something at him. There was a lot more booing for a lot more folks where I was sitting - with the addition of Varitek your list isn't bad at all and if it had been confined there, I'd have no problem with it, all rivals and the guy who beat out Frank int he 32nd man voting. I heard a lot of booing for Bonds, the Cards (why, they play the cubs), LaRussa (wtf was that about?) and others. And that was what I was and am unhappy about - anmd especially unahppy with the booing of our own, JM. Boo him 81 home games all one wants, but in my opinion, not at the All Star game. Everyone around me gave Larussa a huge ovation. Plus, there were a ton of Cub fans there. They were the ones booing the Cards. I think I had a Sox dominated section. I know there were a lot of first time season ticket holders (like myself) that got stuck up there.
