Dreary day in Detroit today. About 40 degrees, and rained overnight/early morning. Still cloudy. All is clear rainwise for the game, though.

Sox vs. Tigers- 12:05pm
QUOTE(Jenks Heat @ Sep 6, 2007 -> 03:48 PM) I like Polanco and the Sox were looking for a secondbaseman at the time he was moved. Did the Tigers have to give anything up for him? Here's a clue..he's now in jail for an attack with a machette in Venezuela..

Clay Buchholz
This has got nowhere near the publicity of the other two no hitters this year to this point. Of course, no BBTN yet..

Curtis Granderson's assault on a 93 year old AL record
Granderson is really threatening the 20-20-20-20 2 triples a couple nights ago brings him to 21. An inside the park homer today brings him to 17. A stolen base today brings him to 16. And he had the doubles long ago.

2007 AL Central Catch-All Thread
And the Tigers have lost another starting pitcher to injury. This time it is Jair Jurrjens, who was the only guy pitching consistantly well, since his call up.

2007 AL Central Catch-All Thread
Zumaya returned for the Tigers tonight. One batter, hit 99 once, 98, and 97 three times. Jurrjens also had a fantastic start. 6 2/3's innings, 1 hit, 1 run.

The Maybin call-up is very surprising, he's only had 20 AB's at AA Erie. I think they are trying to pull a Monroe for Jack Wilson trade(ugh)

Jair Jurrjens is starting for the Tigers tomorrow against Cleveland on ESPN. He's got a ton of talent.

Miller on the DL
http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article...2/70804012/1050 I would assume Durbin will start while he's gone.

Kenny Rogers is on the DL again with left elbow inflammation. Jordan Tata has taken his rotation spot over.

WHITE SOX WINNER!
Nice series, Sox fans. You always play the Tigers incredibly hard. Funny I trusted Miner before this series..

White Sox vs. Tigers, 7/25/07 (L)
Rogers, other than a start or two, hasn't been very good this year. You should be able to rock him.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
QUOTE(DonnyDevito @ Jul 25, 2007 -> 12:13 AM) and they're still up. check out motown, they're going nuts. you would think they had our bullpen or something. Don't remind me. I'm the one trying to calm them down.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
QUOTE(RME JICO @ Jul 25, 2007 -> 12:02 AM) I know, just kidding. Both teams have issues in the pen, but the Tigers don't have Pods to compensate for any shortcomings. They need to bring up Shelton. I love how they have started to struggle a bit after they sent Timo down. Even though his replacement is doing well.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
QUOTE(RME JICO @ Jul 24, 2007 -> 11:55 PM) No way, not even close. It is all Pods. It was quite an exaggeration, but they are very poor.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Kudos to the White Sox. Even though I have to say..this isn't surprising..the Tigers bullpen is close to, if not as bad as your guys's is.

White Sox vs. Tigers, 7/24/07 (DH)Game 1(W)
Tonight will be interesting, with both teams pretty much having a full bullpen.
-
White Sox vs. Tigers, 7/23/07 (L)
I fully expect this to be a pitching duel, with Buehrle always dominating the Tigers, and that the White Sox never have seen Miller.

Tigers-White Sox DH
Is there any idea who will start this game for the Sox? For the Tigers it is looking very probable to be Virgil Vazquez.
