Dreary day in Detroit today. About 40 degrees, and rained overnight/early morning. Still cloudy. All is clear rainwise for the game, though.

Granderson is really threatening the 20-20-20-20 2 triples a couple nights ago brings him to 21. An inside the park homer today brings him to 17. A stolen base today brings him to 16. And he had the doubles long ago.

And the Tigers have lost another starting pitcher to injury. This time it is Jair Jurrjens, who was the only guy pitching consistantly well, since his call up.

Zumaya returned for the Tigers tonight. One batter, hit 99 once, 98, and 97 three times. Jurrjens also had a fantastic start. 6 2/3's innings, 1 hit, 1 run.

The Maybin call-up is very surprising, he's only had 20 AB's at AA Erie. I think they are trying to pull a Monroe for Jack Wilson trade(ugh)

Jair Jurrjens is starting for the Tigers tomorrow against Cleveland on ESPN. He's got a ton of talent.

Rogers, other than a start or two, hasn't been very good this year. You should be able to rock him.

Kudos to the White Sox. Even though I have to say..this isn't surprising..the Tigers bullpen is close to, if not as bad as your guys's is.

Tonight will be interesting, with both teams pretty much having a full bullpen.

I fully expect this to be a pitching duel, with Buehrle always dominating the Tigers, and that the White Sox never have seen Miller.

Is there any idea who will start this game for the Sox? For the Tigers it is looking very probable to be Virgil Vazquez.
