  1. Sheff is an idiot. You just have to ignore what he says. I can't say I mind having him on my team, though.
  2. Haha..go Phillies. And Latroy Hawkins too.
  3. Kind of off topic, but Granderson just made one of the catches of the year.
  4. QUOTE(Athomeboy_2000 @ Jul 6, 2007 -> 11:53 AM) I thought you couldn't call someone up to replace suspensions, or is it different for "long term" suspensions? They moved Vance Wilson to the 60 day DL to make room. Raburn has been doing well in AAA, everyone has been calling for him to replace Monroe. If anything, this gets Infante more playing time. But really, it's hilarious. Maybe the stimulant got his OPS from .483 to .487..
  5. Cabrera and Granderson for the AL. Young for the NL.
  6. Granderson should be an all-star, hands down. He's also doing something like only like 5 or 6 players in quite a while have done before the all star break. The "Triple-Double" as they call it, I guess. Double Digit Homers, Doubles, and Triples. He's fast, but not blazing Carl Crawford type fast. Just shows what hustling all the way can do for you.
  7. I say wins is like comparing runs scored for a hitter. You control when you get on base, but you don't control if you get knocked in. Just like the pitchers control their preformance, but not their offenses.
  8. Ledezma had a few opportunities to start in the past, and would do good for 4-5 innings, and then tire out and do horribly the rest of the game. He has potential, as does McBride. I'm thinking maybe a change of scenery is what both of them needed.
  9. I think the main reason the Tigers made this trade was that Mcbride has options, where Ledezma doesn't. With the Tigers haveing 7 starters soon, they need room for probably Durbin to go to the pen, or Maroth, even though he's more likely to be traded.
  10. I haven't really paid attention to the Sox this season, so who do you think will be their representative(s) for the All Star Game?
  11. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 12, 2007 -> 09:22 PM) Buehrle>Verlander I saw that coming. QUOTE(Brian @ Jun 12, 2007 -> 09:22 PM) Only watched 7-8-9 innings, but holy crap, how big was that strike zone? Looked like some balls were almost in the batters boxes and being called strikes. I do agree with that. There were some horrible calls.
  12. Just threw a no hitter. 4 walks.
  13. He didn't really go off. He just said it was embarrassing. Nothing like last year.
  14. You should hammer Durbin too..please do so we don't have to put up with him anymore..gosh hes sooo bad.
  15. Brian was great..we'll miss him, but it is being taken much better than I expected..
  16. Awesome! Hopefully he got it all out of his system before he pitches against the Tigers. Seriously though, especcially with this guy struggled a lot last year, it's great.
  17. What a horrible tragedy..so many lives lost. Including one from the Tigers family, go to motownsports for more info on that.
  18. I hate the games in Chicago. Really only because of the start time. I always go insane in that one extra hour. More time to do homework I guess.
  19. Tigers win. The best hitter(Guillen) on the team strikes again.
  20. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Sep 7, 2006 -> 05:06 PM) LOL...if you thought I was calling Tigers fans b****es, I wasn't. Kenny Williams, in the 2001 or 2002 season, flipped a buffet table and yelled "B****ES!" That's what I was referencing. Oh, okay.
  21. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 7, 2006 -> 02:40 PM) I don't know about the poll, but I have notice that the Tigers fans have disappeared quicker than a buffet table at the Williams household since their slump began. Hello. I've been here. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Sep 7, 2006 -> 04:07 PM) B****ES Thank you.
  22. DD said it was performance related. Of course, it isn't. He was batting third today. If he was all mad being pinch hit for by Hooper, he is a problem. Hooper came in to bunt, which led to two runs for the Tigers.
  23. Tigers are damn lucky they aren't in third place right now. The pitching is still great. But with Polanco, and now Guillen out, the offense is pathetic. The Sox have slumped for a while. If the Tigers don't get it going soon, they may be in trouble.
