You literally gave Getz a B grade because at least they didnt set the loss record again. Did they make progress? Technically, yes. I am excited about some of the young guys on the team but still upset about the overall lack of results and accountability in the entire organization. We deserve and should demand better!

A record that had stood since the 1960s was finally broken last season — that alone shows how unlikely it was to happen in back-to-back years. The fact that the bar has now been set at simply not breaking an all-time loss record is unacceptable for a franchise in the third-largest market. This isn’t about “progress” or “holding steady.” When an organization performs so poorly that it posts the second-worst record in all of baseball, that’s not a sign of competence. It’s failure. To suggest otherwise only lowers expectations to an embarrassingly low level. The reality is this: an F is the only grade that fits. The standard for a team like the White Sox should never be “don’t embarrass yourselves again.” It should be competing respectably. Until the front office demands more, the results on the field won’t change.

The picture hasn't changed because they keep promoting from within the same disfuctioning organization. Getz was a part of culture, scouting, player development issues yet he was promoted.

There are indoor options that are virtually plug and play. But still not an ideal solution. The Sox aren't worth the effort.

Sure, it may be a problem for some. But far from being near the top of problems. The viewership for the Sox ranked towards the bottom even before the move to CHSN.

The fact that JR is finding out that Chicago is not going to bend over backwards on the new stadium is why I believe JR will sell the team. He is going to let the new owner fight the battle.

The problem does start at the top. JR is the biggest issue in the organization. If he truly wanted to win, he would fire Getz this off-season. Getz hired Grifol. This was his guy. Hold him accountable for the hire and for his horrible off-season and trade deadline moves. But we know it's not going to happen.
