I gotta say I kinda like your list. The Manny ranking is the one that looks out of place ,he should be way higher considering what he did when he went to the Dodgers.

QUOTE (Whitewashed in '05 @ Nov 15, 2008 -> 03:15 PM) I played Resistance 2 and it was pretty fun. Next is Fallout 3. One of these 2 will be my next video game purchase. Does anyone know how long (hours) are the campaigns to these games. I find it hard to go back to a game I have beaten. For some reason I just lose interest after completing the story. I am not big on unlocking extra stuff. My buddy beat Resistance 2 in a day and a half and hes a f***ing idiot. So iam thinkin that game is way too easy.

I just moved into a new place so for the last week I havent had TV and it shown me how much better and healthy it is for me to not have it.I have been alot more active and productive without it. Never the less I got Direct TV installed and it sucks from what I have seen so far,the channels are all over the place.

It seems like the price for Viciedo is going way up as the interest seems to have built to almost over hype now.I see the Sox falling out of this sweepstakes.

For those that are fans, The Cure's newest album is pretty good. There is about 5 songs on it that I cant stop playing and shows they still have it....and now I will wash off my eyeliner.

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Nov 15, 2008 -> 12:09 PM) It's the best trip you can make. If we make the trip out(not looking good right now) it will be our 4th year in a row, and it's an absolute blast. Have you purchased any type of package deals when you went?Like a hotel+game tix kind of deal.Is there anything like that as an option?

What is the problem with the Hawks losing these OT and shootout games? Are young hockey teams usually bad in this area?I dont get it. -
That looks gorgeous,Iam finally gonna have to make the trip to see some spring training games.

What can I say,Iam a huge KW fan and have great confidence and a great deal of respect for the man.Its all a matter of opinion anyways on who are the best GM's because there are so many factors you have to take in.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Nov 15, 2008 -> 09:24 AM) I think if he spent the majority of his career as a corner OF he would feel differently. A guy who is injured as often as he is and has the range he has now should not be in CF. The angle the ball comes to you is a little different, but I've heard KW talk about it and make it seem like its something huge, but these guys can pick it up in a very short time. He may think its easier to play CF but his pitching staff finds it harder to be successful when he's out there. The batting average for ball in play which has been used to describe how unlucky Swisher was this year was something like 75-100 points higher when Griffey played CF for the Reds his last season he played the position for them compared to what it was when someone else was playing CF. A bad defensive CF hurts your team a lot more in the long run than a bad defensive RF or LF. I agree but Iam speaking in terms of the idea that Danks would have an easier time playing in CF because its an easier position. Not to mention he seems to have the speed and ability to cover alot of ground out there.
-
QUOTE (Wanne @ Nov 15, 2008 -> 02:15 AM) I disagree. I completely think Danks is a CF from what I've seen of him. And mind you...I'm basing this off of what I've seen...but he just looks SOOO much more comfortable in center than in the corners for some reason. I know this sounds dumb...but it almost looks like he feels "confined" in the corners. GREAT speed. Good arm. I honestly can't see him playing anywhere other than center unless it's an absolute stud young Griffey replacing him. To be honest...I know nothing about Rasmus. Speaking of Griffey,he says it was easier to play CF than the corners. And that is something I always thought was the opposite but Iam buying into that now.You can get alot better read and alot quicker read on the ball. You dont have to contend with the funny little nooks and crannys that are down the lines. And you can see the pitch and location of where the hitter got to it more clearly, you pretty much get a far greater overall view of the play on the field.

Has anyone noticed what kind of crowds the Thunder have been drawing?I havent seen any of their games yet and Iam curious whether the hype they had at OKC last year has died down at all.

In my baseball world I trust KW with any moves he makes.Hell, I hated the Swisher trade when we brought him but I still trusted that KW judgement was better than mine.Even though that didnt work out KW IMO is in the top 3 of GM's in all of sports so I expect that one maybe two of these guys he brought over from the Yanks are going to produce well for us and make us forget about Swish,Sweeney,Gio,DLS and that whole situation.

I want Gage to hand all rights to Soxtalk over to shipps.

I found it interesting that Cashman used threw the words "from afar" to kinda distance himself from that statement.

Even though it was raining and cloudy this morning I woke up to sunshine in my baseball world. So long Swish.

Seen Changeling last night,Clint I love ya but that was one boring ass movie. If I counted correctly the phrase "my son","her son",and "your son" was said 6,993 times in a 2 and a half hour marathon of watching Angelina cry.

I find the bruises and what seems to be a rash on the inside of her ass cheeks the most attractive.

QUOTE (The Critic @ Nov 11, 2008 -> 03:21 PM) I don't miss anything about either of them. It was such a nice thing to fall asleep with the Sox game on with no fear of waking up to North's idiocy. I can open the back page of the Sun-Times sports section with no chance of reading spiteful, petty venom peppered with stupid nicknames....unless Greg Couch has an article back there.... The only better thing would be LESS of them. From what they say he is Marriotti's little puppet and one of the only people in the industry that likes Jay,or atleast pretends too. -
