I'd hate to see Nick Massett leave, but with him being out of options and such, I don't see a way to keep him... However, he could be a a throw in guy in a deal or perhaps some team in need of a starter (devil rays?) might be willing to give up something worth while for Massett.

It'd be sick as hell if the Rockies made the Playoffs and won tomorrow...

Right now KC, Baltimore, Tampa Bay, Florida, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, and Houston all have worse or as bad as a record as the White Sox. We really need a loss and some help tomorrow. If the Astros and Pirates win tomorrow, and we lose, we will be tied with Cincinatti for the 7th worse record in baseball. So, we will hopefully get the 7th overall pick. What a bummer... hopefully Smoak would still be around by the time we pick, but I doubt it.

meh... Hopefully next year we can finally draft a good catcher who will be ready by the time AJP contract is up or perhaps a year before. However, I wouldn't mind this team making a trade for Taylor Teagarden.

I love the fact we play Colorado, but enough with freaking Pirates already.

Obviously right now Pedro Alvarez is likely the top pick... however, if we pick in the 3-5 range, I'd hope we could get Justin Smoak.
