Sweeney was already better then Gonzalez is now when he was only 19 and first joined professional baseball. Sweeney right now is about 1000x better then Gonzalez.

Charlotte pulls their best White impersonation in game 1, by blowing a great outing by Haeger. Lost 1-0 on a walk off homer in the 8th (sine it is a double header). Sweeney went 1-3 and Richar went 3-4.

looking at the gameday for charlotte, it looks like Sweeney just missed one to center field.

I think MLB Trade Rumors is full of it, and I don't believe any of their rumors. On a side note, with Pods return and his "spark" in the first inning today, with an acquisition like Jaque Jones, the White Sox could make a second half run...

you only get a Joe Mauer or Mark Prior (before the Cubs ruined him) by sucking. when was the last time we had a player of that caliber?

at this point, to give Ozzie an extension would be idiotic. Almost to the level of acquiring Jones. I don't think Ozzie is the main problem, but this hardly the time to be rewarding a coach of one of the worst 3 teams in baseball right now.
