Remember when the Indians fired Murray as their hitting coach? Correct me if I'm wrong, but after they fired Murray, didn't they go on an offensive rampage for the rest of the season? Hmmmm...
-
He better freaking be called up to AAA. I can't stand even entertaining the thought that he is possibly injured.

QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 09:38 PM) Rattle the list off for us. I'm enjoying the losses until they start to dump people, then the games will be exciting to me. I agree. I'd have no problem watching young talented players try and make their way in the MLB instead of zombies just going through the motions so they could collect their paycehcks at the end of the week.

QUOTE(Balance @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 09:30 PM) Are the Sox going to win another game all year??? It would be quite impressive to lose 100 or so games in a row. We would be the first professional team to ever do so, right? In college, doesn't like Temple have a similar losing streak in football?

QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 09:24 PM) Day sucks, AAArdsma sucks, the Sox suck, no big deal. Take that back!

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 09:21 PM) Which is better though? I think the half and half one. With the mixture one, people might get confused and think it is one of the dodger's prospects that they never seen before.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 09:20 PM) Are we already talking about him being out for the season? No, I just said next season because this season is pretty much over.
-
I hope Day can return healthy for next season. I really liked what I saw from him, outside of those two outings. His slider has really looked good coupled with that mid-90's fastball with movement. QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 09:15 PM) The band is back together. Not quite, we need Bukvich to implode so we could recall Sisco.
-
QUOTE(southsida86 @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 09:14 PM) Hey Kalapse is that Billingsley and Ethier in your avatar? Betemit, not Ethier.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 09:05 PM) I can't believe Ozzie is actually contemplating using Andy Gonzalez at 3B over Fields. Where's this from? The press conference? Fields looked great today. Sure, he struck out in the ninth, but he didn't look bad while doing so, he just couldn't catch up to the heat. And I am sure those 3 line drives (one for an out) were so much worse then Andy Gonzalez's suckiness.
-
Yet again, another lefty dominates the White Sox.
-
More reason why we should bring him in for next season.
-
Andy belongs back in AAA... bring up Anderson for all I care. At least he has talent. Well, one good thing came out of tonight. While I was watching wrestling during commercials, there was a commercial for the new Adam Sandler movie w/ Kevin James in it to go along with the smoking hot Jessica Biel. Looks like a good one.

I like the new avy kalapse. Very nice.

QUOTE(Alpha Dog @ Jun 15, 2007 -> 05:52 PM) I sometimes have trouble standing with wood, it throws off my balance with all that weight on one side, I don't think I could even imagine hitting with it. I knew this one was coming.
-
Well, he might be able to hit with aluminum, but can he hit with wood?

MacDougal recalled from AAA-Charlotte, Prinz DFA'ed
BearSox replied to BearSox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Just in case for any people who don't believe me and need a link... http://www.rotoworld.com/Content/playernews.aspx?sport=MLB -
I didn't see this posted yet, but if it was, feel free to delete/merge this thread. MacDougal was recalled from AAA and Prinz DFA'ed. I heard it on 670 the score. Also, appearently Prinz couldn't get ready for the game on Wednesday and I guess that didn't go over to well with Ozzie.
-
There goes the season.
-
Charlotte loses 9-3 against Scranton/WB Vladimer Nunez (L, 1-8) - can we please ditch him already or at least put him in the pen and promote Gio already? Mike Macdougal - 0.2 IP | 2 H | 1/0 R/ER | 1 K | 0 BB Sweeney 1-4, RBI Triple Anderson 0-4, 1 K Podsednik 2-5, 3 K - no stolent base attempts Someone can fill in the rest, sorry, I'm lazy.
-
Dye and Buehrle are our two biggest trading chips, and we could include Mack, Cintron, Phillips, Heager, Aardsma, Anderson, Pierzynski (if we get an MLB ready catcher in any trades *cough*Salty), Podsednik, Erstad etc in any trade or seperatly by themselves for run of the mill prospects. I think it is wisest to try and keep Iguchi if it would help bring in Ichiro at all in the offseason, but if not let him go. I would include Contreras, but he has a full no trade clause for the rest of the season, so lets hope he has a decent year (around .500 with an ERA under 4.5) and maybe we could get a decent spect or two out of him in the offseason.

QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ Jun 13, 2007 -> 06:49 PM) Bourgeois rolls off the tongue, don't it? Hawk will butcher it. Gotta love those french upper-middle class.
-
QUOTE(DaGame2584 @ Jun 14, 2007 -> 04:58 PM) I think you overvalue Salty and undervalue Mark. I would take draft picks over that trade. No, Salty is almost untouchable. It has been reported numerous times that the Braves are only THINKING about trading him for a big time player locked up for at least a couple more years.

QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jun 14, 2007 -> 03:07 PM) Hopefully this will give KW the foundation to ditch the Walk the new slogan for a hitting coach replacement. DITCH THE WALK Ironically, that is the same thing Walker says to all the hitters.
