PC help please ...
QUOTE(DonkeyKongerko @ Jan 1, 2006 -> 01:27 PM) Yep, that's exactly what it is. LexBce Server should also be in that services.msc list. Try to stop and restart LexBce if you can. Otherwise check the dependencies that LexBce has. I googled some ways to uninstall LexBce, but it sounds like Lexmark likes to make things difficult. More info here. Sounds like he could uninstall the LexBce?

The more that things change...
QUOTE(Steve Bartman's my idol @ Jan 1, 2006 -> 12:40 PM) True...but the US wouldn't be so accepting of other countriy's refugees, if said refugees were hell-bent on destroying the American people, and taking the land as their own! You are branding all Palistinians the same. It is at that point we will disagree and it makes all subsequent discussions a waste of time.

Who was the last prospect that panned out?
Which is why I don't get all that excited about the draft or anyone in AA or below. I start paying attention to AAA. Also, trade anyone in the system for a MLB ready player.

New State Laws for 2006
QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 1, 2006 -> 11:41 AM) I'd venture to guess that Hillary is not just living off of her senators salary. Nothing to base that on, just a hunch. Speaking fees, etc, I would agree. Plus maybe a sweet land deal

The more that things change...
QUOTE(Steve Bartman's my idol @ Jan 1, 2006 -> 12:11 PM) That is the key question...there are currently several hundred thousand "palestinians" who consider themselves refugees, even though no one in their families have ever lived in Israel and/or Palestine! That is the major sticking point re. "The Road Map"; the "palestinians" want the right of return for all "palestinian refugees". Again, please check out shoebat.com And that has never seemed right to me. Now, in the US we have a tradition of taking in refugees, and not counting the sins of their countrymen against them. But we aren't taking them in because of any homeland claims, we are taking them in because of our generosity of spirit.

Steve Smith fined $15,000
Seemed unfair, he wasn't trying to hit the ref. $15,000 sounds like too much money.

QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 1, 2006 -> 11:35 AM) Without all these stats to analyze, we'd have to resort to *GASP* watching ballplayers. Without stats we'd have more people posting in SL&P during the off season

2006 Attendance Figures
QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 1, 2006 -> 11:36 AM) The official "paid attendance" numbers. That's what all the figures reflect. I've heard that described two ways. One paid, and two paid and attended.

The more that things change...
If I am understanding I4E's comments, the Palistinians should be rounded up and sent to Jordan and all Jews are entitled to Israel as a "homeland". I honestly have never understood the homeland issue. How can someplace you have never lived, become a homeland? My wife is of Polish/Lithuanian decent. She is about 5 generations removed from anyone who was born in either one of those countries, is that her "homeland"?

QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 1, 2006 -> 11:28 AM) Have I4E or his brothers done any suicide bombing in the US? The answer to my question is congruent to the answer to yours. If you personally have never lived somewhere, how does it become your homeland?

New State Laws for 2006
QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 1, 2006 -> 11:24 AM) Wait. Wasn't NY a blue state? I'd say Hillary is probably majorly pissed, but then she just got a tax cut. Are Senators making over $150,000? I wonder if Senators are like other workers who live in one state and work in another and pay multiple state taxes. They may be paying Washington D.C. taxes, not state. Interesting loop hole.

The more that things change...
QUOTE(Steve Bartman's my idol @ Dec 31, 2005 -> 08:27 PM) Big difference, REX...HUGE DIFFERENCE! In WW2, the Nazis were trying to round up Jews to exterminate them, NOT to move them to their "homeland"! The "palestinians'" homeland is Jordan, NOT Israel...JORDAN! Israel was never the "palestinians'" homeland, and never will be! It is the "palestinians" who want to Jews eradicated, not the other way around! This is where I am always confused. The Jews and homeland issue. Would it be morally right for us to round up I4E and his brothers and send them to Israel?
