    QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Aug 21, 2005 -> 09:12 PM) Yeah, they're only accepting left wing donors. Whats up with that? Because you need a heart to donate blood
  3. I never cared for the roster expansion. Managers have more options, some teams look like a AAAa squad, right when races are determined.
  4. We had Harry when he was good, before he became a caricature of himself, and half drunk.

  6. QUOTE(farmteam @ Aug 21, 2005 -> 02:33 PM) Alright, it's a song that's in one of the Cingular commercials (at the end, the guy is parked uphill outside his girlfriend's house), and it sounds like it's from the 60's/70's. For all I know it's a very famous song by a very famous artist, but I've never heard it before. The only part of the lyrics I could catch were "Rode into Nazareth/Was feeling bout Half Past Dead/Just need a place/Where I can rest my head" I searched google, and all I found was that have been by a band called "Weight" (or Weight was the song title) but I searched that a little bit, and couldn't find anything. So, can anyone tell me what song this is? He just grinned and shook my hand, and no!, was all he said.

    QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Aug 21, 2005 -> 12:07 PM) can't speak a word when you're full of 'ludes Hot damn, it's Skynnard For Dyslexics! Hey Jim I know you don’t owe me But I wish you’d let me Ask one favor from you.’ ’won’t you give me three steps,
  8. QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Aug 21, 2005 -> 12:25 AM) Vote Delay in '08... ..."Cause we don't think America has suffered enough." Seriously though, I don't like George W. mostly because I think he's an ignorant puppet. I don't like Delay cause he's a pompous ass who seems to have a problem with the fact that we don't live in the '40s anymore. Plus, I'm pretty sure he tortures his pets. His handling and politicizing of the Terry Schiavo case should be reason enough to hope that this guy doesn't see a podium come election time. so y'all don't like Texans Cornyn isn't ready and Hutchinson wouldn't stand a chance, and Gov. Perry might not even win his re-election primary. Hammer may be the best Texas has to offer. I wonder what music he'll use for his campaign.

  16. QUOTE(CubsSuck1 @ Aug 20, 2005 -> 12:33 AM) Hilary needs to quit b****ing about violent video games 'corrupting' America's youth and find a real cause. Throw in violence in tv, music, movies, etc. and she's getting closer.

    Hawk is paid by the Sox and acts like it. To provide balance, I'd like to see him work a game with Mr. Jay Mariotti.

  20. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Aug 19, 2005 -> 12:42 PM) No fighting from me. I respect Tex too much through these boards to want to "fight" with the guy. I just don't agree. I think the death penalty can serve it's purpose, and this is one of those cases. I think we are too ready to pull the trigger, but in a case such as this where there is absolutely no doubt, and the only questions are "could he have killed more?", then he is the prime candidate for the death penalty at the same time as sentencing. No tax dollars, no appeals...no nothing. Poof. I think there is a definite unfairness as to who gets it and who doesn't though. That guy that killed a cop in the heat of a hold-up is going down. But this festering ass-boil will live off the states tax dollars until he dies a natural cause. Only common sense tells you it should be the other way around. The death penalty has always been lopsided and uneven. I don't think we should give our government the right to decide who should live and die. With too many errors being exposed in our legal system, I can't trust our system. And I always respect a well thought out and presented opinion so no fight from me.
  21. QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 19, 2005 -> 01:30 PM) Perhaps celebrate by getting a new tatoo!!
  22. I love a couple of wild and crazy guys going at it
  23. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Aug 19, 2005 -> 12:55 PM) McCain/Fiengold Get er done. McCain/almost any leading Dem would be the sexiest match up ever. I'd even pass on Hammer for a McCain ticket. I have such a man crush on him But the Hammer would be awesome for finishing the division in this country. Just smash through and say WTF, so we're divided, your side lost, get over it.
  24. QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Aug 19, 2005 -> 12:35 PM) Brain and surprise are complete opposites. Keep in mind his way of proposing was by shoving me into a jewelry store and telling me to pick a ring lol. Almost as good as I did. April Fools Day in Hawthorne Shoping Center Parking Lot.
