  3. QUOTE(winodj @ Aug 22, 2005 -> 11:49 AM) Me too. I wish he'd start being a Senator again and stop being a candidate. He had my respect until about February. I still get around 15 emails a month from him. But Bush stopped sending me stuff, and I had one of his campaign yard signs on my front lawn.

I assume some of y'all are eating at your desks and posting? I wound up working a little project during lunch. Over the past three months, my fuel expenses have increased over $2000. I'm trying to decide to go back to some of my contract work and ask for an temporary fuel surcharge, or not. I'm leaning on not, hoping for better days.

  9. QUOTE(YASNY @ Aug 22, 2005 -> 03:54 AM) I cannot comprehend a scenario where I'd even consider uttering this phrase. Common YAS, you remember I'm really a Yankee from up nort' You are my favorite Reb
  10. QUOTE(Chisoxrd5 @ Aug 22, 2005 -> 09:20 AM) too early to talk about offseason moves...my head hurts Traditionally we are usually thinking about off season moves about now But not this year
  11. Check out the Wisconsin poll and vote for your favorite pro-team. Hint: Did the Cubune buy ESPN? Oh then huminity, the Sox are losing big in Indiana, let's all go vote in that poll also

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Aug 21, 2005 -> 09:12 PM) Yeah, they're only accepting left wing donors. Whats up with that? Because you need a heart to donate blood
  14. I never cared for the roster expansion. Managers have more options, some teams look like a AAAa squad, right when races are determined.

  17. QUOTE(farmteam @ Aug 21, 2005 -> 02:33 PM) Alright, it's a song that's in one of the Cingular commercials (at the end, the guy is parked uphill outside his girlfriend's house), and it sounds like it's from the 60's/70's. For all I know it's a very famous song by a very famous artist, but I've never heard it before. The only part of the lyrics I could catch were "Rode into Nazareth/Was feeling bout Half Past Dead/Just need a place/Where I can rest my head" I searched google, and all I found was that have been by a band called "Weight" (or Weight was the song title) but I searched that a little bit, and couldn't find anything. So, can anyone tell me what song this is? He just grinned and shook my hand, and no!, was all he said.

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Aug 21, 2005 -> 12:07 PM) can't speak a word when you're full of 'ludes Hot damn, it's Skynnard For Dyslexics! Hey Jim I know you don’t owe me But I wish you’d let me Ask one favor from you.’ ’won’t you give me three steps,
  19. QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Aug 21, 2005 -> 12:25 AM) Vote Delay in '08... ..."Cause we don't think America has suffered enough." Seriously though, I don't like George W. mostly because I think he's an ignorant puppet. I don't like Delay cause he's a pompous ass who seems to have a problem with the fact that we don't live in the '40s anymore. Plus, I'm pretty sure he tortures his pets. His handling and politicizing of the Terry Schiavo case should be reason enough to hope that this guy doesn't see a podium come election time. so y'all don't like Texans Cornyn isn't ready and Hutchinson wouldn't stand a chance, and Gov. Perry might not even win his re-election primary. Hammer may be the best Texas has to offer. I wonder what music he'll use for his campaign.
