I voted for one of the candidates and will still cast stones. Both parties fielded their weakest candidate in my lifetime. I would easily have taken Dole over Bush and Dukakis over Kerry. My two previous worse candidates. We have as a society dumbed down our elections to the point that only people who should not be President will run, and those individuals who would be great choices, will not subject themselves to the process.

Another tip if this happens again. Boot up into safe mode w/ network support (assuming Windows XP) hit the F8 button during boot up to get to safe mode. Start Internet Explorer (sorry Firefox users) and go to trendmicro.com and use their free on-line virus scan tool. THis of course assumes the virus hasn't knocked out your web capabilities. Right now I am yanking a hard drive out of a machine and setting it to slave so I can scan it on a good system.

I usually tune to Fox for breaking news. I usually like their live coverage better. If the Dems have blundered, I watch Fox to get the worse possible slant.
