I wonder how many of his listeners believe it is entertainment and not fact? I don't hear people recite what they heard on Rush the same as they recreate dialog from That's So Raven or other equally entertaining shows.

For most people, they will take money and hope it overcomes the rest. Again not much different then the middle manager for a manufacturing firm. One other factor I forgot was job security.

You're buying into the media's negative portrayal. The networks and newspapers do not want to admit the internet is helping millions of people make considerable incomes. Poor Bush, he's got a big battle to get out the truth and no where to tell it.

Cheney is right. Some eBayers are full time sellers, others are selling overseas on the internet and that doesn't count in our economic numbers. Then there are the barters and traders who are underreporting their sales/transactions. You also have the cash workers like auto mechanics who work part time out of their garages. Too bad Edwards and the rest of his party aren't bright enough to understand that. This may be the lasting legacy of Bush's terms, the cash economy. We don't need some fancy rhetoric in the oval office. We need a tough wrangler like Bush to stare down terrorists.

Yes. It is all a plot by the media to take over the country. They are trying to over throw the government. Too bad conservatives like us can't get jobs in the media. Too bad consevatives cannot own media companies or rise to the editorial boards. Amazing that newspapers and the networks would rather suffer low ratings and lie about us conservatives. Remember the US will be better served without the media. We need a TAAS style news agency. Get the news directly from the government, unfiltered, that way it will not be biased. If we want to know about what the President is doing, he'll issue a statement. What could be more unbiased then that? Just print press releases from the government. Make it illegal to edit. Totally unbiased reporting. At least entertainers like Rush and Hannity are available until that great day when the media is made meaningless and the population only believes entertainers like Rush, then we win. Mega Dittos!

If they were saying what people believed they wouldn't be reporting the news. But then that isn't what conservatives want. They want PR for their candidates and policies and zero criticism.

How do we know his audience even own TVs? AM radios are more likely. I'm certain many of his listeners threw away their TVs after the JJ Superbowl Halftime wardrobe malfunction. I know I did.
