If I'm going to get death by wedgie I've . . . got to be good. so I can see my baby when I leave this World.
  2. Well back to the way back machine and your post: The government didn't give you anything, you later stated these were "God given rights" OK as long as you don't ask for more. Only one helping and yours were "God given rights" perhaps not from the government. Then we agree, you are not taking anything, and those people on welfare are not taking anything.
  3. You never said you were against offering clothing, food, shelter? I guess I need to break out the wayback machine and quote you Isn't welfare food and clothing? Sorry, it sounded like you were against it. Are these God given rights or does someone have to take them. Is it ok to take them if they do not ask for more? Again from your post and presumable typed by you I offered you a homeless person or dog instead. Since you seem to be looking for a violent release or some guy in a skirt and pom poms.

Harsh reality would you rather the team finished 4th and make money or won a WS and lost money? Did you hear anyone cheering in Milwaukee last season? They were #1 in Profits Anybody making foam $ for fans to wear? I understand it is a business. I understand that winning teams manage to put together the best roster with the available resources. I just cannot understand fans accepting a losing team so the owner can make more money.

Tips? Tricks? Scams to watch for? It's summer and I know a few lists members are heading off to college.
  6. He doesn't think it is gay to dress in a skirt and pom pom. Republicans like to have fun.

OMG Wildflower :puke I prayed the night Chicago died . . .
  8. I hope you will make him work for the dinner and not just give it to him. So, I'll just ask one question so you do not get sidetracked. Why is it when you receive a government benefit it is a "God given right" and others have to "take" it.?
  9. We do: That's the problem.

OK CW, I'll take that challenge Artist: Sammy Johns Buy Sammy Johns's CD Chevy Van Sammy Johns I gave a girl a ride in my wagon She rolled (crawled?) in and took control She was tired and (yeah?) her mind was a-draggin' i said get some sleep and dream of rock and roll Refrain: Like a picture she was layin' there Moonlight dancin' off her hair She woke up and took me by the hand She's gonna love me in my Chevy van And that's all right with me Her young face was like that of an angel Her long legs were tanned and brown Better keep your eyes on the road, son Better slow this vehicle down Refrain I put her out in a town that was so small You could throw rocks (a rock?) from end to end A dirt-road Main Street, she walked off in bare feet It's a shame I won't be passin' through again 'Cause like a picture she was layin' there Moonlight dancin' off her hair She woke up and took me by the hand We made love in my Chevy van And that's all right with me

  13. Nice touch. Going to threats of violence. I am having a nice day, thank you very much. Ever wonder why we offer benefits like education, food, clothing, shelter, health care? I didn't think so. I don't know how someone with such great taste in music and movies, and knowledge of baseball can be so misguided on all the greatness our country offers. :headshake Since I cannot be there I hope you'll find a nice homeless person to beat up or puppy to kick.
  14. Careful, homosexual references will get you kicked out of the Republican Party. So I guess I missed it in your last response, but is their something wrong with immunizations? Relief from floods and natural disasters? Relief for jobs lost to foreign competition? Improved health care, decent child care? Or would you rather not invest in Americans? Let's look at your quote Interesting choice in words. What you accept are "God (I like to capitalize God) given rights", what others accept you refer to as taking. The government offers a benefit, you accept it, that is ok. Someone else is offered a benefit, you specifically mention Welfare, they accept it, and you claim they are wrong and taking something. Gee, do you think they are stealing those checks? You claim they "took it". No they accepted the government benefit, just like you and I accept ours. If you do not like the benefit, campaign to have it stopped. But to think anyone makes it in America on their own does not reflect reality and makes a mockery of the awesome set of benefits we have here in America.

As I have mentioned before, I don't care if we lose money and win a WS. Until we rank teams in the standings my profit, all I care about is Colon an addition or a subtraction on the field. With Colon in the rotation, we win at least 3 or 4 more games. When JT adds me to his will, I'll care about his and the shareholder's riches. Milwaukee made a ton of money last year, as did the Tigers, do you think their fans were jumping up and down?
  16. I want Ozzie to keep trotting Koch out there as a reminder to KW and JR that they forgot to fix our achilles heel from last season.
  17. Your point was the government gave you nothing. So your point is now what you took was ok but what someone else takes is wrong? I happen to believe what our country gives us isn't You may think it is lame ass, but as a proud America, I think you're lame ass for dismissing the opportunity. Sorry if my country gives people an extra hand up. Sorry if my country gives low cost or gasp free, immunization to poor poeple. Sorry if my country gives aid to flood victims, sorry if my country subsidizing decent child care so poor working families can try and make a better life for themselves. Sorry if my country gives students finacial aid to attend universities on top of funding the university. I'm certain you wouldn't mind walking past starving people as long as you don't have to pay any taxes. You don't mind an out break of polio if it doesn't affect you. You don;t mind if young people cannot compete in the job market as long as your portfolio is lined with companies moving jobs to China. As long as your comfortable, f*** everybody else.

Are we too quick to find fault in our celebrities, athletes, politicians, astronauts, etc.? Where are the leaders and heroes?
  19. Possibly not. Pitching is always a good pick. Looking at the farm system, if you don't go pitching, corner infielders seem like the area to draft. After Crede, IIRC, we are a little thin on "can't miss prospects". I wouldn't be surprised if we draft a 1st baseman and some lefty power.
  20. I was in the first balcony, center ice. It wasn't as painful if it was a game 6 or 7. I do miss Keenan. He's a psycho, but he manages to win hockey games.
  21. You don't make a message pick in the 1st Round. This was a real pick and if I'm Crede, I'm looking over my shoulder in two or three years. Does this guy want to play baseball or are we getting into a NFL v. MLB soap opera? Anybody know?
  22. Damn it, I'm trying to stay pissed and now I'm LMAO, You Bastard!
  23. Our countries Veterans gave you the freedom, out nation's education system gave you an education, our nation's police and fire fighters gave you safety, our nation gave you the damn opportunity. Our laws gave you opportunity. Government inspectors gave you safe food, safe products. Government regulations gave you the assurance that your Doctor didn't just hang up a shingle. Our government gave you laws that kept others from swindling you. Our government gave you decent roads to drive down, the greatest system of fresh, safe drinking water, and efficient safe sewer treatment. Typical Republican, thinks they did it on their own and everybody else had help.
