To me watching some bottom of the order guy in that situation is just slightly better than watching a pitcher hit. True. But for some teams it's so minor that no one notices. For other teams is interesting but not impactful. Then there are a couple teams like the Sox where it's a major signing worth lots of discussions.

I wonder if it's all the entertainment choices that are available or something else but I'm just not willing to pay current ticket prices for national live events anymore. I'd rather support local entertainment.

I don't mind the extended playoffs but if I'm going to watch professionals play, I'll watch on Sunday. I would have preferred the people making the most money from college athletics, the colleges, to pay stipends. I think the transfer portal has problems and needs to be tweaked.
