Colon's season mirrors almost everyone else on this teams. He's getting hot the second half along with the rest of the team. I play a lot of match play golf and to stay in the right mental state you always expect your opponent to hit the miracle shot, recover from anywhere on the course. Assume the Twins are going to sweep the worst team in MLB history. If Detroit manages a win that will be a gift. We have to beat Min and KC head to head. No other scenario his probable enough to worry about. We have tough games against our likely playoff opponents ahead.

The biggest series will be next week. Two possible situations next week. We lose or split this series and go into Minny 1 or 2 games down adn need a sweep to keep our dreams alive. Or we go in 1 or 2 games up and can hook 'em. This series is bug but not nearly as big as next weeks.

If we made a historical look at corg's beloved Frank we will find he's not having a career best season either. I don't believe Frank's efforts are lacking and I don't believe Bart's efforts are lacking. Not bad for a 5th starter that shouldn;t have made the team

The more the talking heads annoint the WS winners of the division the worse the sickening feeling in my stomach. Anything less than a quality playoff run will leave me very frustrated at this team. The underachiever thread could be very long. On the bright side looking around the team everyone seesm to be playing at their best or near their best. Far better than a big first half and hold on.

We have had a few great game this season. I'm waiting for our clincher before answering. I know my favorite press conference was Kenny Williams in the dugout explaining nothing while speculation built up all day about a possible resignation. Priceless.
