Damn. When I saw this bumped to the top I was hoping for the best. Good Luck. I know several friends who used their unemployment time to start their own businesses. Not exactly legit with the unemployment people but something to think about.

Yeah Friday is Hawaiian shirt day, so if you want to wear a Hawaiian shirt, that would be great... That brings back some memories. Hawaiin Shirt day and no panty Thursday. We banned all stretch type clothing. Capri pants have not been banned as long as they are stretchy and not too tight. *sigh* Unfortunately we had some employees who didn't understand they did not have the physique for stretchy clothes. Are skirts allowed? Are dresses allowed? A skin tight short black cocktail dress would be worse. The length should not be the issue, the issue should be if the clothes are reveiling by the lack of coverage or by being too tight. Too bad companies can't use common sense as a guide anymore.

I did broadcasting in college. I can appreciate a good announcer. Steve Stone has carried that booth through 2 generations of HORRIBLE Carrey's. The guy knows his stuff, and really does do a good job. He would be a good balance to Hawk and his golf stories. OK I'll admit it, I agree that Steve is a good annoucer. I've also found that Milo Hamilton has become a very good broadcaster with the Astros, my second favorite team. Still all this feel good Cub stuff is creeping me out

Built the team around Frank? I agree that Frank has been Mr. Sox for the past 14 years but I don't think you can build a baseball team around a DH. At some point, and maybe it has already happened, the main guy is going to go from Frank to Maggs. He'll be the guy you think of when you think of the white sox. Whether you call that a franchise player or marquee player.

This is why, no matter how long I live in Texas, I will always be a Chicagoan at heart. The only thing better than a Sox win is a Cub loss and both will happen in the same day Any chance of putting a 5 day delay on any new signups? Kind of a cooling off period. It will be 100+ here at game time. The pool is for at night when it drops into the 90s. I'm deciding on the proper beer for this series. I usually prefer a Shiner Boch or Lone Star. I may switch to Miller (High Life) or maybe a Bud. What are they serving at Cellular?

We're at least a pretender. Dibbs had us winning and I thought Bobby V said we would be challenging. Seems like they should at least comment why they think we are out of it. It isn't like they had something more important to say about something else . . .

Just checked to see if I will be able to see the Son on a real tv instead of through my monitor on mlb.com and what to my wandering eyes should appear but listing that really piss me off. Sox game on today. Then Saturday and Sunday it's Yankee-Mets. WTF. There are some other series going on.

The Botox didn't exactly play up to MLB levels either. This game sucked on both sides of the field. The better team found a way to win when they were playing like s***. The differences in games like this are 1. Coaching 2. Attitude 3. Ability to do the little things (like bunting) aka fundementals 4. Luck This season we are 0-4

Last night the ESPN crew discussed the NL and AL Central races. No mention of the Sox. Dibbs handed the division to the Twinkies. I guess we should just stop playing and go home I thought we at least deserved a mention. But at 6-7 games back maybe not. I wouldn't have even minded a WTF happened to the Sox comment.
