If it was a better fitbit type device for the same price I would get it (so around $100 or so) and it provided time, weather, steps, alerts and silent alarms, and other features then it would be worth it. It doesnt need to be a conventional watch, rather a comfortable and stylish wristband.

Bruce Pearl hired at Auburn. Not sure if it's true, but I read elsewhere that the NCAA investigator that brought down Pearl at Tenn works in Auburn's athletic department. -
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Mar 14, 2014 -> 02:07 PM) Really regretting not getting in to PHOT when my dad did. He bought in at 0.25, and its at 0.60 after like a month. Made a few grand so far. He's expecting it to reach $1.00 by June. I bought in to OSLH today at 0.20. Statements like this are why posters are skeptical of the strategy. Does he have data around that hike or is he just feeling it?

Illini fans are going to be more optimistic about next year about their chances, 1) we know more about the transfers and how they fill huge needs for us 2) every fan is more likely to be optimistic of their team than others (besides B>w ). Personally, if we aren't making it to the 2nd weekend of the tourney next year I would be disappointed. We'll be deep, experienced, and have strong starting talent with much more balance in our offensive skill sets. Obviously injuries, etc can impact that viewpoint, but again this team is pointing up.

QUOTE (Boogua @ Mar 14, 2014 -> 01:38 PM) Nothing to show for it? They improved greatly last year after losing a lottery pick. They've improved greatly over the course of this season also. Groce has been here two years, so anything beyond those two years is a different issue. Yea Nunn and Hill didn't improve at all this year.

QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 14, 2014 -> 01:17 PM) So did Rice's uncontested finger role/dunk attempt/airball lose it? A lot of plays "lost" the game, fact is we were in a position to win it and we didn't execute enough to pull it off.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 14, 2014 -> 01:06 PM) Well that sucks. Bad season. Oh well hopefully get better in the NIT and do better next year. I wouldn't call that a bad season, it's right about where I expected them (predicted 17 wins). 9 new players this year, 5 of them freshmen, it's tough to go to the dance with a team like that, and yet we were 2 points from most likely getting in.
-
f*** Could've been a ticket to the dance, but man great fight at the end of the season out of these guys. Future looks bright.

QUOTE (Brian @ Mar 13, 2014 -> 10:51 AM) Morrow is so underrated. Can't believe more schools aren't on him yet. He'll be unstoppable next year. Illinois is showing some interest, unfortunately we just don't have a need for him. If we didn't have Black coming next year then he would be a good fit, but we need a true 5 instead.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Mar 13, 2014 -> 07:07 PM) Has anyone ever sat in section 121 at the United Center? Got tickets in that section in row 6 for next Saturday's game against the 76ers I've been near there for Illini games (a few sections over in 117 I believe), should be great views.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 13, 2014 -> 01:04 PM) ILL Nothing to lose tomorrow INI Long shot, but we gave ourselves a shot and that's impressive considering where we were not too long ago. Illinois has some sort of agreement with the NIT already (if we dont make the NCAA tourney), so looks like we are at least going there.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 13, 2014 -> 12:44 PM) If the numbers are close, I am sure they choose a friendlier state. If they aren't, you had better be able to justify it to your shareholders, or you will have a shareholder revolt/lawsuit on your hands. They care more about ROI than they do on reputation. Shareholders care more about Tesla being able to sell the cars themselves, putting a key factory in a state that isn't allowing that tells shareholders that Tesla is okay with that legislation or knows they can't fight it. That would plummet share prices more than saving a million every year in tax benefits.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Mar 11, 2014 -> 10:13 PM) The best DLC I have ever played so far has been Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Game is f***ing hilarious. RDR: Undead Nighmare is a pretty great DLC too. Thoroughly enjoyed that one as well.

There is one with Tiny Tina creating her own imaginative world that has a ton of GOT and other fantasy references, it was quite possibly the best DLC ever created (obviously I don't know that but it was about as perfect as it could've been). If you're a fan of Borderlands and GOT, you have to play that DLC and do all the side quests, especially the Prince Jeffrey one. So many great jokes. If you liked Borderlands 2. The writer and his sister (who voices Tiny Tina) did a webseries called Hey Ash Whatcha Playin'? Some of these are absolutely hilarious: That was great, will definitely have to check out more of those vids.

A regional sales VP at my company emails about an issue that would arise during her maternity leave, she emails HR who in turns emails a few IT managers including mine. I make the fix needed and informed her of all instructions. She emails all of the managers and the HR rep saying thanks for the prompt response. Of course she leaves the one person who actually did any work out of the thank you email (which was in turn forwarded to me from my manager). For some reason I'm not surprised.

QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Mar 11, 2014 -> 06:25 PM) http://mh370lost.tumblr.com/post/792146078...ion-to-the-ntsb Not sure if anything is being ruled out at this time. Seems odd (and scary if true) that a plane wouldn't have a sensor for low oxygen levels that would prevent a scenario like that. If that truly was the case, then there should be some sort of indicator well before oxygen levels reached a life threatening state.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Mar 11, 2014 -> 09:52 AM) I never work out that late or I wouldn't be able to sleep. Yea I try not work out after 9pm because I have issues getting to sleep otherwise. The spin class I was in yesterday had at least 20 minutes of climbs, brutal but felt great afterwards. A few new people were in the class, one of them literally was on the lowest level for about 10 minutes and called it quits. She was out of shape but it looked more like laziness, why even go to one of these classes if you're going to put zero effort into it?

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 10, 2014 -> 10:54 AM) f***ing wisconsin, thanks for no help Bo Should be an easy win vs Purdue and while Nebraska is playing good ball I still think they struggle vs good defenses.

New Orleans is a freakin blast, I went there underage and still was able to have a great time. We stayed in the Garden district and I loved it, beautiful houses and buildings over there, taking the trolley in was a great experience as well. We went over to the Tulane bars a few times as well, pretty fun atmospheres all around. Also, if youre looking for food while on Bourbon street, there was a philly cheesesteak place that was very solid (better and cheaper than most places on that street). Owner was from Philly so took some pride in the food, of course back then he was complaining about McNabb still.

QUOTE (Reddy @ Mar 6, 2014 -> 12:21 PM) I'm sorry. What. This is exactly what the mainstream media WANTED you middle americans to think about Occupy with the way they chose to cover it. Please. Please. You're legitimately clueless and horribly off base on this. You realize Occupy still exists yes? And they did MOST of the recovery effort after Sandy yes? And that they've been fighting to keep people in their homes now for years yes? I can keep going. HOW DARE THE PROTESTERS USE THE INTERNET!!!! They must be entitled brats. Much, much different than the protesters against Vietnam. Totes different. Occupy turned into a conglomerate of social fiscal issues. I agreed with the core, but a lot of people started using it's momentum for their own agendas and it turned into just a have/have not social media dogfight.

I will say this, back in 2008 when I was graduating high school I went out and applied for summer work. I went to over 30 companies, all of them personally asking about job opportunities at a variety of jobs (retail, landscaping, movers, restaurants). I had a decent amount of experience painting, landscaping and restaurant work from previous summers but after a month of looking I had two offers, one for a moving company and one a few weeks later for Lowes in their paint department. I took the moving job because I'm a big guy and could handle the physical nature of it, but it was amazing how hard it was to get a job that summer. Of course the economy has gotten better since then and I had no problem getting internships or offers while in college.

Well I do understand the private high school tuition part, if her parents enrolled her in that school then they should be paying for that. Everything else is just her feeling entitled to wealth. Also, why do major publications quote facebook comments within news articles? Makes them look like trash.
