  1. Why would he not try to step on the base? Deserves a trade to the Sox, masters of brilliant defense.
  2. What the heck is wrong with Anderson? Almost another Abreu GIDP. Good takeout slide at second by Jimenez...kind of rounded it wide off the outfield side.
  3. Incoming lecture about cash flow, revenues and monetizing or leveraging value of franchise in a practical way.
  4. Charles Comiskey or whoever did player acquisitions at Black Sox time? Himes by far the most underappreciated. Schueler squarely in the middle. Dan Evans Kim Ng Dombrowski got jobs elsewhere. Who were the architects of those late 50's and 60's teams again?
  5. Selling like hotcakes all around Chicagoland. Not!! in Borat accent.
  6. Thairo Estrada not pleased. Maybe Los will end up extending if he and Ashley like it there, but Atlanta, Washington and Baltimore are much closer to home base.
  7. Washington got a very good return on Soto. Now they have to live up to their prospect billing. Odds are they get at least 2 if not 3 very useful pieces out of those five. Gore and CJ Abrams are already at the big league level, of course.
  8. Is he ripping on the Sox and still praising all things Cub-related? Over hyping Robertson return? Extolling upside of a full year in 2023 with Suzuki and Madrigal...unlimited financial flexibility this upcoming offseason in FA? (Well, I guess the Cards and Brewers didn't improve much, either.)
  9. And one truly wonders why a team with a sleeping manager wouldn't have a whole bunch of swagger...
  10. And they really are fortunate the Tigers' rebuild is such a mess other than Greene/Skubal/Soto. Javier Baez and Eduardo Rodriguez clearly not the right decision, either. And Dayton Moore keeps his job almost like a cult leader/self-help guru guy...with it being born again Christianity he's selling.
  11. Someone should have asked if you were White Sox owner Rick, why would/should you continue to employ someone with two failed or fatally flawed rebuilds as your GM?
  12. Also got Sanchez and freed up money for Correa and Buxton. Traded their one time future ace in Berrios at the right time. Band aid approach to pen and addition of Duran bssically kept bullpen afloat, along with adding Archer, Ryan (for Cruz), Bundy and Paddack stabilized the rotation.
  13. Raisel Iglesias to the Braves after just extending him this offseason. Dodgers got cash back for Lamb, lol. Angels must be trying to free up money for Ohtani but he prioritizes playing for a winner from everything you read out there.
  14. Leaving the only successful first rounders as TA7, with Rodon somewhere else/no QO, Burger buried behind Moncada and 1B/DH types, finally Crochet’s long-term prognosis and role moving forward far from clear.
  15. Definitely no Robert then but wouldn’t really matter in the overall scheme of things. What if Machado, Harper or Wheeler signed…? Etc.
  16. Listened to the grandmothers from Des Moines on Contreras and Happ-y. Ron Coomer isn’t even all that pleased.
  17. What, no Judge or Ohtani paired with Seizuki?
  18. Unprecedented financial flexibility, mired in mediocrity, I’m an idiot for trading Tatis, etc.
  19. Contreras is a FA, right? Or one more year? Happ is through 2023 for sure. That sounds like a trade that would cost half the farm again.
  20. Knebel fell apart early and they needed to solidify down the stretch. Now where the heck are the Cardinals? Brewers made their big long awaited Hader deal.
  21. Plus Maeda this year coming back and Paddack early to mid 2023. Building depth. Ober having all kinds of setbacks in rehab. Gives them Mahle, Sonny Gray, Ryan, Archer, Bundy, Ober/Maeda
  22. That’s interesting, since he was just in the starting lineup for a game that starts in thirty minutes. Might push Cronenworth to first, eventually Tatis or Kim at SS and 2B? Profar can play first as well.
