At any rate, it seems like he has taken a step back from his previous leadership role, except for fulfilling union duties.

Padres will put it together eventually on offense...but they're looking very disinterested/listless in the early going. Cubs really on a roll but they still have to get past the Brewers and Cardinals (who also look pretty bad early)...can't imagine the Pirates won't start to fade eventually.

He looked like he had the potential to be a star in years 2/3...just plateaued earlier like Giolito. Twins were right on the money trading him too early rather than too late.
