Go Team Barbie!!

Kopech throwing 94 mph crap...

Brett Myers from Phillies/Astros/White Sox John Rocker lol. Chuck Finley reverse DV.

Baseball is an increasingly regional game....outside of those teams like Yankees Red Sox Dodgers Cubs and Braves. Only having a few playoff teams would dramatically drive down attendance and tv ratings in at least half the markets.

Was considering for fantasy but wasn't sure how long Mountcastle was going to be out. Nice story. Basically missed two full seasons of playing time.

This is the exact same as Getz and Grifol bring winning attitude from Royals. More Sox BS.

1 1/2 for 21 on Clemente Day A crisp .071. And he even had two hits in one game. Yet never a real threat to Martin Maldonado. Mr. Instant Offense.

JR claimed Getz is the only one in team history who taught the minor leaguers how to play the game correctly...or does it go all the way back to the Brooklyn Dodgers?

I'll take Will Smith slapping Pedro Grifol or Chris Getz after tripping over someone who parked their wheelchair in the wrong place. But Will never wore the Sox hat growing up...could have invited him to Chicago for the Sox Hat and Hip Hop documentary.

And Paul O'Neill as the manager...

Change his number to 0.

Roberto Clemente Day Sox dishonoring it by simply existing. 6-8 to get to 100 losses. Yay.

Maybe you can somehow involve Mr. Beast or Emily Ratajkowski lol?

Had at least one quality start right before it...

We know their rookies aren't exactly setting the world on fire but what good do Andrus Shaw and Grandal do for the future by taking up playing time these last two weeks? Just seems completely obvious to everyone but Getz and Grifol. Then leaving our starter hung out to dry in the late innings? TLR was better than this.

Underestimated the opportunity cost impact on upsetting clubhouse chemistry...apparently it sticks more with some players than others. For example, not even the White Sox would dare bring in Trevor Bauer next year. And that's basically if he was "free" contract-wise. You also can't just dismiss the per game price tag for Clevinger when someone like Civale on the Rays is pitching to a sub 3 ERA still.

You know you have clubhouse issues when Clevinger of all people is trying to motivate the team through the dog days of August and September with the team hopelessly out of any race but draft pick positioning.

Lyle Mouton at this rate...

You must be quite fun at dinner parties...but even game threads aren't three pages these days. DJ Moore was mildly disappointing but will probably recover to have a somewhat decent season. If there was no overreaction or hot takes in the media....well, we wouldn't have every single College Gameday being hosted in Boulder, Colorado for a month in a row. We wouldn't have manufactured "slight" or diss stories that lead to reaction and then counter reaction coverage. (At least until the Buffs lose to USC Washington Oregon etc.)

Maybe Rock Raines is closer then. Literally a HoF player and he was solid for the White Sox but nothing close to the dynamic force he was in the first half of his career with the Expos. Or maybe it's just that Bears' offseason tall radio tends to even overhype the likes of Cole Kmet when there's not as much baseball other than the Cubs to discuss.

Even Connor McKnight? That's like upside down world stuff right there.

https://sports.yahoo.com/hiring-chaim-bloom-signaled-a-change-in-the-boston-red-soxs-philosophy-firing-him-signals-the-lack-of-one-001854554.html Bloom built a Top 5 farm system in less than four full years but two last place and now another out of the playoffs doomed him. Similar payroll to the White Sox...just right above them at #12. Ofc Rays and O's #28/29 in spending. The Red Sox have the outline of a core forming in the big leagues, with international hit Masataka Yoshida and homegrown young players in first baseman Triston Casas, pitcher Brayan Bello, outfielder Jarren Duran and newly promoted center fielder Ceddanne Rafaela. Behind them, there are several exciting prospects within shouting distance of Boston, most notably shortstop Marcelo Mayer and surging outfielder Roman Anthony at Double-A. ..... To be sure, the next executive in Boston will have a lot to work with. The farm system is one of the top five in baseball, by FanGraphs’ estimation, and there’s plenty of offensive talent in the majors. But the defense is dreadful, and the pitching staff needs more robust patching than James Paxton, Corey Kluber and a wave of other early or late-career fliers can provide. That could be easily remedied, assuming said executive can get past the big Green Monster — no, not the wall, the payroll question.

Don't recall ever comparing someone to a Bulls' player...but decent effort overall I guess.

https://www.espn.com/mlb/player/splits/_/id/39631/luis-robert-jr 538 OPS in 32 September at-bats. He was fine in July and August...over an 800 ops both months. Actually at 910 for August.
