If you watched Hendricks closely this year, nearly every single save has been a high wire act like Colome two seasons ago. And Liam now has that red flag out there with the forearm tightness. Plus, he's older. Both probably suffering from overuse. Finally, Hader is much more familiar with the NL. And Hader gave up three homers in basically one inning of the same game 2-3 weeks ago. Finally, how do you sell the fanbase on competing next year with Graveman, Kelly or Lopez closing? Hahn would look like an idiot yet again.

Does anyone really believe Hahn would engage in such long-term thinking? You don't trade a highly compromised asset for fifty to seventy five cents on the collar.
