He's the poop!

Bleacher Report and USA Today.

So Brain Bannister will be gifted the prize by the Venezuelan VP? Also, you don't "submit" materials to Oslo, you have to be nominated. Btw, Devil's Advocate Ron is more fun and engaging..

Boston Smith and that LA SS 100% will make it before Mason Adams...it's pretty much the law of Sox prospect trades since 2010-12

https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/s/sheetga01.shtml -2.9 bWAR White Sox +1.0 Padres Andrew Vaughn +2.6 Brewers -1.1 White Sox

A 2ish fWAR is still a success overall for Martin, as he basically carried the rotation in the first half, just like Shane Smith last year. How are differentiating Hicks from Newcomb, then?

What about Eaton and LaRoche/son?

Fine, I read that as LA/Latin America, since someone was complaining about our lack of international prospects. But isn't he actually from Arizona?

Hahaha. 4-D chess.

Not 100% sure Richards and Schweitzer would even be claimed on waivers... Not Newcomb or Martin? Doesn't Ryan Fuller get credit for hitting successes at all levels?

We always pictured you as more handsome than Kirk McCaskill...c'mon, only once in a lifetime????

Josh Donaldson

That basically wipes out Abreu Sale Rodon Crochet as well...Chris will be going to the HoF as what? A Red Sox? Brave? No hat?

Brusdal/Dodgers?

Feels like at least 3-5 years away... Did they ever recognize Ray Durham, for example?

Jesus Made? Seems Top 100 milb and Top 10/30/50 internal team rankings and then system rankings are all getting jumbled together. Haven't seen the Sox ranked anywhere outside the Top Ten overall since this recent draft class. Very very top heavy with Roch and Bonemer. Caleb Montgomery will graduate soon...plus you have the Hagen/McDougal gap down to the next tier, which feels quite considerable atm.

SoxTalk has been giving the new director who came over from the Mets (Dave Keller) a lot of latitude. Sox are also just debuting their brand new facility/academy in the DR...so there has been a marked increase in investment, but the biggest problem is draft classes and commitments are now years out. Pretty sure they were already announcing multi million pledge to guys in the 2028/29 classes, but those guys are all miles and miles from the major leagues at this point. Another issue is the White Sox never leveraged all their Venezuelan connections beyond the Magglio Ozzie F.Garcia days. Part of it was a safety issue, the majority of mlb teams pulled up stakes down there because the political/militaey/kidnapping environment just became too inhospitable.

Everyone in the world knows how much the Seattle offense has struggled this year, particularly at home. Everyone also knows no hitters with over 60 homers historically have ever been below the 700s for OPS the following season...Cal Raleigh was just at 579. But jumping to the majors from a 6th rounder (at catcher of all positions) the following year after being drafted...don't think that has ever happened, at least to my knowledge. Totally fair, that does help some. But that's still high at AA. I haven't found any defensive evals of him yet, can he legit catch? •9d ago Destined to be a corner outfielder, according to most shouting reports.

Boston Smith $50,000 signing bonus, Round 6, pick 171 (Nationals) unless a prep pick with high signing bonus, those 6th-10th rounders aren't taken so seriously as prospects, usually...a lot of times they are throwaway picks like the Braves did this past draft Positions: Catcher, Leftfielder and Third Baseman No clear defensive position. That's a massive ding on his scouting report/potential impact. His size, at under six feet as well. Also went through college transfer process, from Cincy to Wright State, which is hardly a traditional ACC or SEC power program. Plus his only and first milb at-bats have all taken place this season...so a bit of a blank slate to prospect evaluators

All the external ratings so far have the Sox ranked anywhere from 7th to 10th, right there with the Tigers after the Skubal/Mize trades and the Guardians and Twins, too. Mariners Dodgers Brewers usually the top three...Pratt/Laura losing their eligibility soon but MIL still has an impressive system overall.

fwiw Mariners have THE best or second best system (LAD) in all of baseball at the moment with their two ace pitchers at the top in Kade Anderson/R.Sloan www.mlb.com › news › mariners-prospe... 13小时前 · If changes in scenery can create a spark, Boston Smith has been completely energized by his first week in a new organization. But I think they've already ...

Aren't Thome and Prosek also projected as high ceiling hitters, moreso than plus plus fielders?
