Thankfully no elevation under that one by Buxton... -

Is Ron finally right? One thing's for sure, giving him a 2-3 year extension and then a fall off a cliff would be a disaster at this point in the contention window. And opens up the spot. But the problem is not enough offense without Jose, Jimenez, Moncada and Grandal all firing on all cylinders. -

Body language still isn't good. Just get this team back to Chicago. Bundy velocity up 2-3 mph over last season with some mechanical tweaks. -

Not a true fan unless you report gameday whereabouts at SoxTalk! Lol. Family is not an acceptable excuse. -

The timing of these two starts (VV vs. Cueto) juxtaposed against each other couldn't be any better...at least can switch games eventually. -

Never thought Ozzie coming back as manager would happen but something has to give the next 2-3 weeks if they can't pull out of this self-induced tailspin of runaway egos. -

Well, maybe the Guardians aren't a team of destiny after all. Yankees always manage to smack down the AL Central. Fans pelting the Guardians outfielders with aluminum beer cans. Michael Kay also said Indians lol. -

Kwan's lucky to not be seriously hurt. Jimenez would be out for the season. Can we have Beltran as manager please? Anyone else available besides Bochy maybe... -

That's with the Royals having 3 of the 4 worst OPS guys in all of baseball in Merrifield, Santana, Mondesi and doesn't even include Witt Jr. Great ending setting up in NY. Tim Locastro is like Gore/Dyson for the Yanks with extended roster. -

Cubs and Tigers proving offense isn't dead today. Just had to know that Torkelson would get it going eventually. -
Please bring back the ghost of Alex Rios and undo that trade...even if it means subtracting the heroics from Game 3 last postseason.

And Josh Nelson at SoxMachine is the one that heard that first, Harold, or just putting together clues like a Reddit online detective?

At least now the advertising is gone. And they were totally able to bypass the Shanghai port Covid logjam by electronic means.

Wasn't he offered $100-120 million by the Mets last year and declined? Sigh. Guardians are even managing to hang in there today in NY with guys like Naylor and Hedges getting key hits against the Yankees. That bullpen has been impressive considering no Karinchak and Shaw's been around twenty years it seems like. This week for the Sox has been the equivalent of watching Six Underground and Ambulance on a 70 hour continuous loop at volume setting 10. Best comp. Or a root canal. I think I prefer being shouted at by Jake Gyllenhaal or Nicholas Cage. -

Nice to see him and Rodriguez playing with joy and getting some big game-changing hits last night. The emotions there were like night and day compared with Sox/Twins… -
Makes a difference…only 41 home games and even more expensive than MLB on average, fans (and especially young kids and families) want to see stars play rather than sit on the bench.

He turns 78 at the beginning of the playoffs this year, btw. -
White Sox: Jason Bilous, RHP (No. 17) Part of Coastal Carolina's 2016 College World Series championship team, Bilous has pitched his way to Double-A and onto Chicago's 40-man roster since turning pro as a 13th-rounder in 2018. He's making progress as a starter, but his 92-97 mph four-seam fastball and low-80s slider would play up out of the bullpen, and he doesn't have a long track record of filling the strike zone. mlb.com From an article where Jim Callis selected every team’s future closer…from their major or minor league rosters.

Actual odds of Leury not being in the top 6-7 hitters? Odds of Vaughn not being in the bottom 3? I mean, TLR can’t bench him for Sheets or Haseley, can he? -

What makes the difference between a good and manager? What has LaRussa done this year so for that makes you believe he’s still one of the best? -

He hasn’t even pitched yet at Charlotte though, has he? Well, Hahn’s not going to give up on his $3 million man, just yet. -
“Very close to being the kind of win that gets you excited,” La Russa said. “A lot of good things, but it turns out to be a very tough loss. Never give in and never give up. It’s pretty simple.” ….. “I was really just trying to get a good grip on it,” said Anderson, who has made six errors in his past three games. “Just try to get it over there. Wet conditions, but no excuse. For the most part, [I was] trying to get a good grip to be able to make a good throw. But that didn’t happen.” https://www.mlb.com/news/white-sox-drop-opener-in-loss-to-twins On TA7 suspension: “We’ll talk to him about it,” said manager Tony La Russa, who didn’t see the action in question and found out about the suspension from general manager Rick Hahn. “Ask him what happened, why it happened. Doesn’t change anything that we believe about him. Nothing.”

And if Hendriks had then blown the save or tie game was walked off?
