  1. Didn't even look home? Thought there were two outs?
  2. It would be far funnier if he did that on the Cubs' boards...even if it meant a Yankee win.
  3. Randy Arozarena and Andres Munoz to the rescue.
  4. 20 consecutive saves tip your cap Vargas had the right swing...wrong shape
  5. Not a big league CFer on an everyday basis, that's for sure.
  6. Dominguez back to his natural role but can't score even one run. Dome baseball sucks. Unless you're winning. Sox also just signed Cleavinger's brother udfa after the draft was over.
  7. Rasmussen's second outing with ten...had 14 against Red Sox in early June.
  8. Rays only 28-3 when scoring first run of the game at home yikes
  9. Alex Call getting lots of trade interest apparently...
  10. MLB Trade RumorsSeveral Teams Showing Interest In Casey MizeAll the focus is on Tarik Skubal, but the Tigers have more than one big starter to shop. MLB Trade Rumors breaks down Casey Mize's market.
  11. https://www.foxsports.com/mlb/stats?category=pitchingratios&sort=gbfb&season=2026&seasonType=reg&sortOrder=desc Webb, Soriano, Alcantara and F.Griffin all Top 20 for gb/fo ratio. You'll also see Martin in that grouping. R.Ray is pretty much the exact opposite. He has the very worst ratio. Same with Burke. Detmers and N.Martinez both feature prominently as flyball pitchers, too. T.Rogers of Baltimore has the best recent string of pitching going back 40-50 IP.
  12. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/articles/one-unexpected-guardians-trade-could-173104431.html SI is really falling off. Trade struggling Tanner Bibee for someone pitching better? Brilliant.
  13. Jerry Hairston Jr. predicts a multi-team trade for Skubal"I think the Tampa Bay Rays are going to be extremely aggressive," he noted. "I'm hearing the Brewers are going to be active, and hopefully the [Chicago] White Sox can be active as well." From all of the reports going around, it's interesting to see Hairston lump the Chicago White Sox into the mix. Not many teams have predicted Skubal could land there, especially knowing that would keep Skubal in the American League Central for the rest of the season, at bare minimum. Hairston continued, "Obviously the Dodgers are going to be in on it... I think if the Dodgers do pull off this trade, I think it's going to be a multi-team trade. I think it won't be just one for one as far as Tigers, Dodgers, if they do get it done."
  14. https://twinsdaily.com/news-rumors/minnesota-twins/how-the-twins-can-get-to-mlbs-proposed-salary-floor-r20406/&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwji5uX8m_-VAxUzJEQIHUdqPFMQFnoECAsQAg&usg=AOvVaw31t9RT2wngz5BUXfq33IJ8 "then surrendered four solo homers to the Cubs, lasted just four innings against Houston, and gave up 14 runs over his last two outings. His 6.50 ERA looks worse than the arm behind it: a 38:11 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 36 IP suggests a pitcher throwing better than the runs indicate. The thirty-year-old's biggest problem this year has been home runs; he's given up 12(!) in 36 IP. That rate is an outlier - he only had a 1.3 HR/9IP rate coming into this year - but that will need to be lowered considerably if he's to have any success. One thing that will work in his favor is no longer pitching in Camden Yards, which has become notorious for giving up home runs since they moved the fences in." average fb = 93
  15. Still complicated with MINN at +1 and everyone waiting to see what DET will do...but going .500 (so far) during this stretch when they were staring 1-5 in the face before the G3 NYY comeback is pretty sweet can't ever count them out feels a lot different than 2012 waiting on DET to finally step on the gas at the end what's really weird is neither Buxton nor Ryan are leading the Twins now
  16. T.Rogers has really been pitching well AND an expiring contract https://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/article/mlb-trade-deadline-white-sox-continue-their-search-for-starting-pitching-195439525.html
