2024 mid season? Even that doesn't make much sense.

Dodgers Rays Brewers Phillies Braves Cubs Red Sox not who you play but when you play them...seems like those two blown leads have really sapped some of the momentum

The Manzardo controversy...

McCann

Reds holding onto a 1-0 lead over CLE going to Top 6 in Cincy.

Really need to get more power from Braden, ultimately. Catcher can't be worse. Then you have Bonemer coming fast...pushing Meidroth at second or LF/Antonacci back to second. Pitching is the much bigger issue ATM.

Reds, Brewers, Tigers, Mets, A's, White Sox, Pirates, Mariners

Definitely won't come cheap...

Typically, Buxton responds to questions about potential trades by reminding the media that he has a no-trade clause and doesn't intend to waive it. But now the team has shared a surprising update on Buxton's willingness to change teams. "He apparently told a Phillies player last summer he would waive it to come here," Phillies insider Jim Salisbury reported on a recent episode of "The Phillies Show" podcast. "That's what a Phillies player told me in the last month or so.

But Cease different as an off season trade coming off the disappointing 2023 results...made late in ST, March 14th, 2024. Sox were in salary cutting mode already, except for Robert, Jr. Dylan Cease was traded from the Chicago White Sox to the San Diego Padres. The Padres acquired Cease in exchange for three of their Top 10 prospects and righty reliever Steven Wilson. Cease, who was under club control through 2025, was a key player for the Padres, contributing to their rotation and performance. His move to the Padres was part of a strategic trade to bolster the team's pitching staff and address the need for rotation stability.

"Ryan was one of the survivors of the Twins' 2025 trade deadline fire sale that saw nearly 40% of the club's active roster dealt. The Boston Red Sox had interest in acquiring Ryan, and a recent report from Alex Speier of the Boston Globe revealed that Boston was willing to trade their top two prospects (shortstop Franklin Arias and left-hander Payton Tolle) to Minnesota for Ryan. Even though Ryan is one of the top starting pitchers in baseball, the MLB world ripped the Twins for turning down the Red Sox's offer for the star right-hander."

not ready for primetime players

Game has felt doomed ever since giving up the lead....

Hasn't Hudson had reverse splits for most of the year? Or was that Newcomb?...oh well.

It's not like Braden is one of the two catchers being up next...

a lefty with swing and miss stuff

Rice just better...playing with fire getting out of that inning unscathed.

Skubal, He Gone

already without Judge and Bellinger, who had been slumping badly to be fair

Not exactly controversial takes...lol

Pad Thai goong a better idea than Tom Yung shrimp

Why do we just assume Schultz and Hagen would suddenly have control like Luke Littler's dartboard out of the pen?
