  1. That’s probably why he has been a perennial Top 50 prospect in the game…
  2. I’m not even sure how you can risk Kopech in the rain coming off the IL. Not worth it. But not many good choices for the manager in this kind of situation.
  3. Will be a miracle if the Twins don’t score here. Do we trust anyone in the bullpen?
  4. Corpseball but somehow holding a lead for now. Can’t believe Arraez laid off that slider. Bad luck. Gas from Rodon.
  5. They’re all apparently intimidated by the Hahn/TLR 4-5D chess…
  6. Six. Largely because Cleveland has lost 7 in a row and 9 out of their past 10. White Sox on a 6-10 run.
  7. Indians' Shane Bieber: Not yet ready to throw by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire Bieber (shoulder) isn't expected to resume throwing for a week or two, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports. Bieber underwent medical exams recently, and the team has been pleased with the results. However, he'll continue to rest in the near future in order to prevent a more serious issue. A better timetable for the right-hander's return could be revealed once he's cleared to begin a throwing program. https://www.cbssports.com/mlb/players/playerpage/2507333/shane-bieber Since his return is undoubtedly the primary hope for the Indians at this point.
  8. Package with Frazier/Stallings will cost us and arm and a leg…but Reynolds is the real stud over there.

  10. If you correct for population, the UK is 10x worse than US and gap widening with AZ only 60% efficacy against Delta. Plague Island.
  11. This is the first hame all season I just really didn’t care that much…and even had Moncada and Cease going for fantasy team. Just that feeling they might have to back into the playoffs, especially with how the starting pitching and defense has been underperforming recently. If it’s not one of those, it’s injuries or the bullpen. Other than Burger and Sheets, hard to get very much excited about watching this offense. We started out the year with Eaton/Engel as the weak lineup link…now, every night there are about 5-6 dead spots in the order.
  12. One knee catchers are just not on balance for lots of plays…maybe the future niche is finding/developing catchers who can avoid that. I remember Tony Pena always did that thing where he stretched his other leg out to alleviate the pressure…but not with a knee on the ground.
  13. 27th homer to tie Vladdy Jr, Ohtani way out front with 31. Hardest hit homer of career at 116 EV. Two hardest hit in team history were Franchy Cordero bombs at 116.3 and 116.9 back in 2018. Vladdy with 1.109 OPS, Tatis at 1.091 and Ohtani 1.066…only three over 1.000 in majors. Not as much talk about moving him off SS these days. Jinxed, error #18…but something tells me they’re willing to live with it for now, unless/until it starts to affect his hitting. Has managed to separate the two for the most part. He also did something I’ve never seen on a baseball field just now. He jumped into the air to snare a liner, and actually kicked to get even more elevation. Almost like he was swimming upwards to get the ball. Had to be at least a high 30’s or low 40’s vertical. Sorta like the result of the game is secondary at this point. Human Baseball Player Double Jumps Live On Camera Luke Plunkett Tue, July 6, 2021, 4:35 PM Look, I’m Australian and know almost nothing about the sport of baseball, but I know enough about it—and the human beings playing it—to know that this is not normal. https://www.yahoo.com/finance/news/human-baseball-player-double-jumps-233500354.html
  14. Dave Stewart really going after lack of class in current Dodgers org compared to O’Malley years.
  15. Unfortunately, he can hit 20-25 MiLB ones but he still has to prove himself in Seattle still and the skeptics will be waiting to pounce. Franco wasn’t doing much for the Rays, either…at least until the game tying double tonight against CLE.
  16. Got caught up in the rally’s momentum…possibly forgot the number of outs.
  17. The asking price for a legit catcher is going to be through the roof…they just have to live with Collins/Zavala. Paging Omar Narvaez, haha.
  18. See the so-called Lambda variant in Peru might be the worst of all. https://www.yahoo.com/huffpost/gop-rep-marjorie-taylor-greene-071335457.html https://twitter.com/mtgreenee/status/1412201898829135873?ref_src=twsrc^tfw|twcamp^tweetembed|twterm^1412201898829135873|twgr^|twcon^s1_&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.yahoo.com%2Fhuffpost%2Fgop-rep-marjorie-taylor-greene-071335457.html
  19. And young people, those living in rural areas, libertarians, etc.
  20. Couldn’t even make it to the ASG to get hurt there…PTAC will probably be working for the Sox before this season is over.
  21. Leave it to the White Sox to make more history off the field. From 1919 to the 1994 JR strike wiping out their best shot before the Indians took over the division to the White Flag trade and Covid/injury-plagued seasons taking the starch out of the rebuild. Unfortunately, we always have to wait for revenues to be booked first instead of proactively addressing problems.
