5th/6th starters discussion (ongoing)
First Sox starter to give up more than 3 runs. Michael Wacha @ $7 million >>> VV and Cueto Plus we are about to destroy the bullpen before two important divisional series on the road.

4/17 Games
It depends if they get something like 15-16 and 20-22 seconds instead of 14 and 18 (with runners on base) along with the automated strike zone at the big league level…those eventual changes have to be in the pipeline as they’re so obvious for cutting out 4 hour games.

4/17 Games
Games are currently down something like 25 minutes in time…2:38 from 3:03, thats a huge improvement.

Early Thoughts
Of course, Ray’s 2021 season will not be a mirage, Paxton will come back healthy, Haniger won’t get hurt as usual, Crawford/Lewis/Rodriguez/Kelenic all get MVP votes and Brash wins ROY….then they’re a playoff team for sure!

Are you in favor of Moncada to 2B?
1.015 OPS for Vaughn against RHP. Almost double the OPS in road games compared to GRF, fwiw. Well, over 1.000 is much better than .600ish, despite SSS.

You just can’t do that at the big league level with a rookie oversized for that position…you’re going to get Anderson hurt in the process. Sure, try it for a month in Charlotte, knowing any injury there keeps him off the trade market. (Max Muncy did it in a pinch, playing second, but you don’t see the Dodgers doing that any longer.)

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
But 2005-06 SHOULD be the measuring stick for this team…and the division was 3x stronger back then. At the very least, they need home field advantage. Let the four AL East teams destroy each other.

No. If Burger is doing another Yermin for the (entire) first month, then you can at least think about it…if Harrison is still hitting in the 100’s. Even then, TLR would start playing Leury there more frequently.

23-9 in 2006...

Jake Burger is actually pretty interesting
"He is a stud - his body looks like LeBron's , about 6'4" solid muscle." Do we have a picture of Eloy working out to prove how off this take actually is? Maybe you actually meant La Pantera?

The Tigers will be the tougher team with Greene back and then one more year to add FA's.

LOL. Zack Collins now looking like a HoF hitter in that Blue Jays lineup. 5/12 (417) 1 3 (3/3 today with a homer)

After just 8 games? That award almost always goes to managers who see their teams through 15-20 game positive swings from year to year in victories. The Twins are down Buxton, Kiriloff and Sonny Gray now. Every team in baseball has injuries due to a confluence of factors.

The interesting thing is that he's right around that 85-86% mark for save conversions...whereas elite used to be considered 90%+. I will give him credit for cutting down the runner at third...that turned out to be the key to the inning, that and walking Choi to get to the inexperienced fielding first Walls.

That's just a bit of hyperbole but with VB tomorrow it's a solid win. Best record in baseball with Mets losing. Very very fortunate to have Walls up there. Not pitching to Choi the right move with McGuire to block pitches now.

And LaRussa as manager...who insists on playing Leury over Bummer.

Had to go to the off speed pitch. Kopech Abreu and McGuire players of the game lol.
