  1. For every 10,000 times they show that damn Je.Giambi/Jeter play at the plate, they might show one Juan Uribe 2005 World Series defensive highlight.
  2. Well, so much for that inning. Well struck, but at'em ball.
  3. Jimenez bothered a bit by his hand after that super-violent swing. Btw, did anyone see why/how Bryce Harper went out of the game today? EE left-shoulder "tightness." Day-to-day.
  4. Not having to pitch for entire season is really going to be an advantage is keeping him fresh...at least in 2020.
  5. Wheeler has averaged 96.7 on fastball. Caught first couple of innings, he got touched up (bad Segura defense) but recovered to get his second win. Yankees' lineup without Sanchez, Urshela and Stanton in Game 1. Already setting up roster for post-season/Twins.
  6. Big shift from pre-season. The NL Central looked like it was going to be a huge challenge to get two teams out of that division, with 4 competitors and one garbage franchise. That said, their starting rotation has weaknesses and Wick as the closer might not have much of a shelf life.
  7. Your WHAT hurts? "They've got my money in Hamtramck."
  8. Bad hop, Garcia recovered, defensive positioning cost the Brewers a single up the middle.
  9. Fathom, just curious. Are we going to fixate on the Cubs this year or you've totally given up the ghost? Or only if we face them in the World Series?
  10. Robert was looking back, average lead, not a very good jump and barely got thrown out. Missed hit and run??? Or was just looking back towards the plate out of habit? Someone's going to have to talk to him about that.
  11. Robert almost lost his balance and fell down there taking off...that would have been a really awkward landing.
  12. Guarantee they did that without seeing a single workout video or highlights from CUBA. The reported times to 1B and power displays in BP were the first two glimpses everyone had, and the sound of the ball off the bat like a gunshot.
  13. Moncada fishing high outside of the zone and looking like the 2016-18 version. (He'll be fine.)
  14. It's like Ditka vs. a Hurricane. Once the ball is on the ground, especially the LH side of the infield, it's a 50/50 proposition for the defense.
  15. 10 infield hits for the White Sox this series. No Anderson. Let's trade for Billy Hamilton!
  16. Sounds like a quote that could be equally applied to Tatis, Jr. White Sox in just five years are responsible for the two best young players in baseball. You can certainly add Bellinger and Acuna to that grouping, of course.
  17. Ummm...who are we trading them, Kopech and Vaughn? Since they have Alonso, not sure where Vaughn would fit.
  18. You can pretty much stick a fork in their title defense without Scherzer and Rendon.
  19. Coming off last season’s disappointing (by his standards) results, $16-18 million would have been more than fair.
  20. Originally? He can play pretty much any infield position, yes? Obviously won’t be SS with a healthy Seager ensconced there.
  21. Madrigal broke radial bone in 2018...is that different from radius? Just remember that and ulna from high school bio, lol.
  22. Wheeler is starting for Phillies soon...against NYY. Greatest “what if” of the offseason.
  23. Lewis made a really nice extended home run robbing catch at the wall yesterday as well.
  24. Well, fortunately, nobody will care when we get some actual real news about Madrigal, EE, etc. But I will strive to do better in the future.
