  1. Especially against Smoak and Ryon Healy.
  2. Seen that AVI swing about 5,000 times now...reaching out for it and hooking it to the left side.
  3. White Sox now 2/22 (.091) with RISP...yikes. Two wins in that situation would be like a miracle, especially on the road.
  4. Should be a single and an error on the pitcher's throw. Robert up to .364, showing 2/4 in the boxscore, and a walk to boot.
  5. Presence of Grandal behind him forced Counsell/Suter to pitch to Abreu. Worked out that time.
  6. Clayton Richard pitching for the Brewers there. Everyone watching at home SHOUTING at the t.v. DON'T THROW THAT DAMNED BALL AWAY DOWN THE RF LINE.
  7. 11 strikeouts looking. High this year in MLB, well, at least tied for that
  8. Unless it's Ozzie with Addison Reed in 2012, definitely Colome until he loses the job. He only had 9-10% blown saves last year, sub 2.00 ERA in save situations and the closer salary. He might be annoying as heck to watch, but he's been pretty darned effective. A bit reminiscent of the Bobby Jenks save after 2005.
  9. WOW. These Sox relievers are acting like they haven't watched Yelich and Bellinger destroy the NL the last two years. Probably a good thing, no fear/intimidation.
  10. Last time we got Yelich, Garcia got us. Can't relax now against Yelich obviously. Would almost prefer they make Avi beat them. But you don't want to put the tying and winning run on base on the road.
  11. Just barely missed a great catch there by Moncada. MONCADA terribly miss-timed his jump....totally fooled, didn't get up in the air at all. RENTERIA, thanks for blowing this game. It was eminently predictable.
  12. You can pretty much guarantee the Brewers would have used Hader in 1+ inning in that exact same situation. Not sure why Bummer would be any different.
  13. Can just imagine what Hawk Harrelson would be saying about right now. 65% chance of scoring.
  14. This is where managers need to go by feel....situation...and throw out this "fresh inning" crap.
  15. Not leaving in Bummer for Holt and Hiura when there's two more lefties and Bummer cruised through that inning....pretty dubious.
  16. Cordero for the 8th, looking like...forgot about him, so our bullpen goes 5 deep right now. 6, if you're willing to believe Detwiler has morphed into 2005 Neal Cotts/Cliff Politte.
  17. Trout returns from paternity leave. Of course, homers in his first PA.
  18. McDougal, Aardsma, that other huge lefty that came over from KC and could never consistently throw strikes...
  19. If Heuer can settle down into a reliable 7th/8th inning guy, agreed. That gives you Marshall, Bummer and Colome, +1.
  20. Zack Britton comp for Bummer...10 strikeouts on the night so far. Narvaez, just one his on the season so far.
  21. Three best young Sox hitters go down swinging in that half inning, but grizzled vet countryman Abreu saves the day.
  22. Okay, blame it on the slow Chinese internet....the screen image at MLB.TV isn't clear, looked like a humpback liner to me. Watching the replay, yeah, he got that one pretty good.
  23. Jimmy Cordero and his power sinker looming in the bullpen. Aaron Bummer also getting ready. Looks like it will be Bummer will all the lefties/PH'ers coming up in the bottom of the 7th.
