He's also a GG catcher. Yankees better chance of postseason w/o Judge than Ms without Raleigh first half of season. Judge has been pretty limited defensively this year.

Probably not Kopech and Yates though...now Vesia is in trouble. Henriquez just a rookie.

Just noticed Cy Civale got his first save (maybe ever) pitching for Cubs against Mets in a mop up role. Haha.

Raleigh just hit #60. MVP clinched. I think that's now 11 multi Homer games, a record or tied. Suarez another homer...five tonight for Ms.

Sasaki looked like a totally different guy there in terms of body language compared to April. Might have turned out differently if Muncy didn't get first out. Generous strike three call inside off the plate. 4-0 Astros losing to A's again H.Brown rocked, pretty shockingly. Make that 6-0 A's playing spoiler. Andy Pages having a great game tonight

Shane Smith (White Sox All Star)
Except Sale Crochet Rodon Cease lol...Giolito has also been really solid in the second half for the Red Sox. Crochet 18 wins and 255 strikeouts.

All things LA Dodgers Thread...
https://npb.jp/bis/eng/players/41845136.html Munetaka Murakami 3B Yakult Swallows might end up coming to US after all...recovered from injury final two months of the season. Boston/Bregman option Dodgers and Yankees would all be in play. Probably 1B/DH at big league level.

Sasaki might end up Dodgers' closer at this rate going to have to face the heart of a lineup at some point, but so far so good throwing 98-100 with that nasty splitter/forkball

Mets getting bailed out tonight so far by Pirates and Dodgers...

Fire Chris Getz
Except we are now in Year 2 1/2 of the Getz regime to look at the pitching situation... What's a reasonable amount for Getz to have to spend? We might not see that until 2028 at this rate. Because he will always have either spending or injury excuses even for 4-5 years of lackluster results.

Raleigh 59 Rodriguez 32 Polanco 25 Nelson has been excellent against Dodgers in 7-8 career starts. Should have pulled trigger for fantasy champ series on him. Conforto in LF wouldn't have had that...

9/24 Winner Take All Game
Bergolla will eventually be competing with Meidroth Sosa Vargas...don't see Mead being relevant. At least William play some D and runs pretty well.

Nobody in baseball was willing to take that risk for five years. He went from GG to barely playable due to arm and lost some of his speed. This was accurately captured by fWAR, where he averaged 1.5 fWAR from 2019-2022. Four year trend. Which was proven right if you go by fWAR and value outfield defense.

Because you could see his defense and speed falling off. His numbers were also helped being in that NYY lineup in 2022. Boston gave up on him. Players nearing late 20s usually don't improve suddenly at 30-33 with steroids. The guys that do excel in 30s usually power hitters like your Judges and Schwarbers. A 3 year deal was what everyone else in the industry was offering. Maybe one other team was at four but Hahn blew away all the offers...pretty early in FA if I remember correctly.
