  1. Teel's start at least is quite salvageable. Montgomery has a LONG ways still to get back to respectable numbers.
  2. we only "warned" him about this for pretty much the entire offseason...his best possible effort was to get back Amaya on waivers?
  3. Bonemer being ranked ahead of Braden and Teel doesn't seem like a very good thing...has to do it at Winston-Salem before he really rockets in rankings.
  4. Surely Disney is lined up for the movie rights...will there be any White Sox fans left by then?
  5. Well, another of what will be the six worst teams in baseball by the end of the season...reassuring.
  6. 7-14 with Drury Dalbec Julks Elko Lipcius your best hitters doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
  7. Are you trying to get the Knights to finish with a lower winning pct that the Sox...? AAA Knights down 12-1.
  8. Unintentional intentional walk to avoid Devers. Or the opposite.
  9. Burke 7.36 ERA and that's with 3 unearned runs today.
  10. Houck only gave up 12/10 ER last week... Venable going with defense first today, except Taylor. But must play Vargas everyday.
  11. Jac Caglianone, 1B, Northwest Arkansas (KC No. 1/MLB No. 20) Mired in a 1-for-24 slump, Caglianone broke out in a big way, highlighted by the second grand slam of his pro career. The 22-year-old snapped an 0-for-17 skid with a single in the fourth and added another in the 11th before blasting his fourth long ball of the season to clear the bases in the next inning. Despite his recent rough stretch, Caglianone has 19 RBIs in 14 games for the Naturals. Gameday

  13. Whenโ€™s the last time an MLB Rule 5 pick was in that situation three weeks into a season in the 10th inning on the road in one of the most hostile environments in baseball? Starting the inning with the winning run on second and no outsโ€ฆ?
  14. I donโ€™t. But where is the White Sox ethical line that they wonโ€™t dare cross? Maybe you could understand a playoff caliber baseball team like SD years ago where they hoped Clevinger would โ€œput them over the top.โ€ but the WS are not that team and donโ€™t have any reason to be so desperate

Sheets has over 50 PAโ€™s and blows away anyone and everyone on the Sox right nowโ€ฆdespite no Merrill or Cronenworth for protection. Canario has had all of 20 at bats lol.
  16. Personally, I think Hayes is receiving advice from the Twins that itโ€™s better for Keachsall that he doesnโ€™t resent them for making that Fedde deal when he was injured and rehabbing from TJSโ€ฆthe reporting at the time all around baseball was that JR/Getz turned down the deal because they refused to help another Central team. So then why did the Sox make trades with the Royals??? Why would a team that was in โ€œwin nowโ€ mode like Minnesota last year not do the trade unless the White Sox had asked for W.Jenkins? Fedde was a Top 20 pitcher in all of baseball at the time of the trade and had a great contract as well. So the Twins decided to put their faith in Chris Paddack instead lol? Hayesโ€™ reporting amusingly flip flopped from last August 2nd.

I suppose Gavin Sheets will draw a lol from you too? Being on a winning team I guess is laughable as wellโ€ฆ so how many PAโ€™s are meaningful to you?
  19. So JR is forcing Getz to provide him his now FOURTH separate shot with the Sox against his will? Why not Trevor Bauer, too?

The White Sox are now projected at 59-103 at Fangraphs. The Marlins at 69.8-92.2 and Rockies at 58-104 are the ONLY other teams below 70. The Angels Nationals and Pirates are the only teams projected at between 70-75 wins. The NL West has three teams at 7-9 games over .500โ€ฆwith the current fourth place team AZ projected to finish second. The AL Central is a combined -18.
  21. Miguel Vargas 14 TB / 20 games Luke Keaschall 5 TB / 2 games
  22. 37-14 record in them now... And, if they didn't sell, they would simply create another design.

26 almost 27...4-5 years younger than the average Sox outfielder.
