Viciedo another rookie who couldn't follow it up. If you go back to guys like Crede and Rowand...it took them both 2-3 years to break into the lineup on an everyday basis. Back then, the team was strong enough to make young players earn their time. (Borchard and Brian Anderson, for example...would have had hundreds if not 1000+ at bats with the 2017-19 teams.) A lot of it's simply timing...and, in this case, Moncada's health.
