  1. https://www.mlb.com/news/angel-padron-throws-no-hitter-for-venezuela-in-caribbean-series Ozzie's Venezuelan team to semifinals. Venezuela's manager, former MLB shortstop and manager Ozzie Guillen, managed two no-hitters in the Majors, and his pitching coach for Venezuela, Carlos Zambrano, threw a no-hitter for the Cubs against the Astros on Sept. 14, 2008.
  2. This just in: Tori Spelling will not be involved with the funding or copy writing side of things.
  3. It was certainly a winner for local steak restaurants in Florida or STL...
  4. off if you revisit the prediction just two years later, with 60% not holding up very well over time. https://www.mlb.com/news/predicting-each-team-s-top-prospect-in-2026?t=mlb-pipeline-coverage Two years ago, Colson Montgomery the pick and that looks right on target so far. Have to think the White Sox should be targeting some of these younger players instead of the older, immediate impact types that have been argued about in connection with potential Cease trades.
  5. With his arm around Hahn's shoulder, comforting him.
  6. Cowser might have been easier to secure than Bradfield...eventually will need to trade one or two more like him or Westburg before value continues to erode.
  7. View is a bit like like Comerica substituting Willits for GM hq.
  8. The brilliant Chinese economists just banned it…that will certainly help to cheerlead markets back up.
  9. Certainly was true for Kopech that rainy night long ago…
  10. Are we attempting to raise the Apple share price here?
  11. 85-90% will pick Fletcher…as it is phrased RIGHT NOW.
  12. Fathom Fathom typically panics first over velo, lol. 2 Names
  13. Big part of it is projecting a full season of at bats for Lewis....and improvement from Correa, perhaps better health from Buxton.
  14. All four Central opponents that year pretty similar on offense...248-269 runs scored, Sox best offense and CLE best pitching and defense. White Sox 306. Minnesota underperformed 2019 record setting homer performance.
  15. Have to wonder if any team came close to offering Clevinger even $8-10 million at this point...Bauer is understandable enough, but the character concerns on Gold Digger are going to be outweighed eventually with one lower revenue team hoping to compete. Especially considering he was better than Giolito for the majority of time last year...

  17. https://global.espn.com/football/story/_/id/39378413/whats-gone-wrong-manchester-united-glazer-ownership Feels like the Glazers almost perfectly mirror Reinsdorf and family as EPL owners...
  18. "The big idea, or maybe the big hope, that the Glazers have -- and this was driven by Ed Woodward -- is the emergence of Augmented Reality," a source familiar with the Glazers' business model told ESPN. "The technology is already out there whereby a player could have an AR wearable on his body and a supporter anywhere in the world could pay a small fee to experience a game through the eyes of his favorite player. "Just imagine how much United could generate from their huge global fanbase if supporters were able to pay to be Marcus Rashford or Bruno Fernandes for 90 minutes?" Woodward confirmed to ESPN that AR was seen as a "huge opportunity." https://www.si.com/fannation/name-image-likeness/news/foxs-caitlin-cam-sure-to-boost-iowa-stars-nil-footprint-matt9
  19. Weren't the Guardians in the playoffs with Rosario getting starter's at-bats in 2022? 92-70 and took down the Yankees almost. Sure, he's by def a complimentary and highly streaky player...but you put him not far off Juan Uribe level when he's impacting the game with Xbox hits and stolen bases. Dodgers usually make decent choices...he just was down last year, not unlike most CLE hitters outside of Ramirez and Naylor.
  20. Triple Mt Rushmore 8 Sox 2 Trumps 2 Kushners
  21. Rosario must have priced himself out of market as "best" available SS entering this FA market.
  22. Doesn't explain Clevinger...
  23. Leury Lynn Kopech Keuchel Grifol Montoyo Benintendi Kelly
  24. Sox can still sign Merrifield Taylor + 6-7 more $2-3 million vets and still win the Central lol. Should have saved the Fedde money for now. Niche opportunity to outspend front end of market with other four Central teams now tapped out financially.???
  25. Well, except for the Aroldis Chapman exception.
