Burleson is dangerous. Have to send Walker here.

Really missed his spot against Walker there.

Burger a very solid all-around game.

Speaking of Cubs...Rodon took the loss against them for NYY but seemed to have most of his velocity back in 2023 debut. 97-99 might take awhile, though.

No Gallegos and can't use Jordan Hicks without a lead (seemingly).

They can even use ChatGPT to substitute for Stone/Benetti concessions and postgame restaurant conversations... Can even suggest a customized McDonald's order lol. https://www.yahoo.com/news/let-chatgpt-decide-order-mcdonalds-142757067.html White Sox 47% save conversion percentage is the worst in MLB for the most expensive pen in the game. Wow.

Will take pretty much anyone over Beckham. And, as an added bonus...he becomes a GM candidate with Getz his main competition. Not to mention he won't be so deferential as an ex athlete. Finally, already living in Chicago. "A native of Cohasset, Massachusetts, Monaco was a three-sport athlete at Cohasset High School. He attended the University of Notre Dame and wrote for the school's student newspaper with the intent to become a Major League Baseball general manager, similar to the path former Red Sox general manager Theo Epstein had when he attended Yale.[1] Monaco eventually transitioned to the school radio station at Notre Dame and subsequently began his broadcasting career. Monaco currently resides in Chicago."[2]

And this crazy game continues to the 8th...
-

Still sounds too much like an "eager beaver" minor league voice so far.

Mike "Money" Monaco (born May 14, 1993) is an American television sportscaster who is currently employed as a play-by-play announcer for ESPN and its networks. Monaco is also the alternate television play-by-play voice for the Boston Red Sox of Major League Baseball (MLB) on the New England Sports Network (NESN) and fills in for Jason Benetti on White Sox telecasts on NBC Sports Chicago. Pretty young guy...

Also who is doing tv for the Sox tonight?
-

Well this game suddenly got MUCH more interesting. Another hanging off speed pitch.

Switching to Reds/Brewers. Pointless to even watch the White Sox anymore except Robert at bats.

https://www.milb.com/player/alek-manoah-666201 You can practical guarantee this guy will be one of the Sox starting pitchers in 2024. Maybe if we bring back John Rooney? Radio guy from back to back WS winners in 2005-06. Would have to work better than TLR. Also totally forgot Ricky Horton pitched for the White Sox in 1988 after his time with StL. (We could use another Lance One Dog Johnson, too.)

Remillard looked a bit surprised there the ball had even landed in his glove.
-
7/7: Cards @ Sox
Ten hits already surrendered by Cease. Sigh.
-
7/7: Cards @ Sox
They can do it without Giolito Lynn and Clevinger for sure...even with the Royals and Tigers.
-
7/7: Cards @ Sox
A full half "real" season without a homer now for TA7. Change of scenery trades being mentioned for about half the team lol. Maybe change the GM instead?

Cardinals announcers discussing what teams keep giving Andrus opportunities at this stage in his career.

Andrus the active stolen base leader for MLB. That version left the building long ago.

As long as it's not Austin. More yuppies there than the Northside.

Remillard is the quintessential utility guy. He's NOT the guy whose bat is so important it has be shoehorned into the lineup. See Sheets as well.
