any sox in college world series this year
Ricks is having a good game today against Florida. The game isn't over yet, but so far he's 1-2 w/ 2 rbi's.

Best Stadium?
I've never been there, but from what I've seen on t.v. and from what I've heard about it, I would go w/ Petco.

Remember him?
I'm glad to see him doing well after the little league incident, which I don't think he had much say in and was blamed by a lot of people for it. Personally, I think it's that Paulino guy that should be blamed for Almonte playing even though he was too old.

White Sox announce draft signings
Hell yeah! Ya'lls draft review last year was awesome! I can't wait for this years! Oh, and by the way, are ya'll gonna rate our top 50 prospects this year like you did last year?

White Sox Come to Terms with 21 of their Picks

Chris Young
I'd have to agree with your assessment. If he can play gold glove defense like Cameron then I can't wait until he gets up here. Although, I think he should be batting around .280 - .290 in A-ball if he's gonna hit .250 in the majors.

My Draft PTC's
I don't think that Williams will sign with us. I'm 99% sure that he's gonna go to Arizona.

Harold Reynolds
It was also interesting that Harold said that we'd be able to sign Beltran long term if we got him. I don't see us being able to keep Maggs and Beltran, so one of them would be gone. Maybe we'd trade for Beltran, and then trade Maggs for a pitcher. The Sox might rather have Beltran since Beltran is younger and is a gold glover. You know what? I have no idea what's gonna happen, but I doubt we'll have to worry about any of this b/c I don't think we'll trade for Beltran.

Olivo stepping up his game
I've been really impressed by Olivo this year. He's looking like the catcher that I and a lot of others thought he'd be. And, that's cool how La Russa came to one of our games. Too bad we lost.

6/10 Games
It's good to see B-Mac have a really good outing after that one he got shelled in.

Nine Innings with Kris Honel
Schlotzky's sandwhiches are awesome, as is there pizza (althought the pizza is a little small, it's still damn good). Also, I love the part about how he had to double-up or sit in the aisle. That just makes me think about my lacrosse team's trips that we took when we made the only freshman on varsity sit in the places that no one wanted to sit. One time he did actually have to sit on a cooler that we had in the isle of the bus for the 3 hour trip. But, once he started bringing his portable DVD player all the seniors wanted him to sit next to them so they could watch, so he started getting pretty good seats.

Jason Stumm
He probably has a lot of errors b/c he has a lot of range, and tries to make plays on balls that most guys can't get to, or he's just inconsistent defensively. I've never seen him play so my guess is as good as anyone's

Dasox24 A sig for you
that's awesome! thanx a lot!

6/9 Games
Ah, those were the days. I can remember Rauch just tearing it up every game; I couldn't wait for him to be in Chicago. Then, 2001 and his torn labrum came along, and he hasn't been his old self since.

Big Ten/ACC Challenge
I think Wisconsin is gonna be badass next year. I'm scared for when my Illini have to play them. Go Illini!

New Moronotti Article
Actually, Foulke brought us Cotts along w/ Koch. Chad Bradford brought us Olivo.

Super Regionals
I sure hope for Moviel's sake, he didn't have an injury. He a good pitcher and it would suck to see him have an injury so early in his career. Of course, if the injury wasn't arm related, that's definitely not as bad.
-
Super Regionals
I think he'll still be pretty good. Like Jason said, most guys don't come in right away as freshman and contribute as a starter. I still wish we would have signed him, but whatever. Also, two other guys that I really wanted to sign from last years draft were Wes Hodges and Donald Veal. Hodges had a pretty solid year at Georgia Tech this year, hitting over .300 while playing pretty good defense at 3B. I didn't bother to look up how Veal did this year, but he's pretty darn good, so if he didn't contribute much this year, he will next year.

Super Regionals
Players are also eligible at age 21. An example of this in this years draft was Micah Owings, a draft eligible sophomore b/c he's already 21.

2004 Draft Finishes w/Position & School Breakdown
It sounds like Kenneth Jr. would be better off going to Arizona to try to improve his draft stock. I wouldn't sign if I were him, and I don't think he will.
-
Andre Iguodala
Iguodala would be awesome! He could be this year's Dwayne Wade.

Saturday Starter
Best of luck to Arnie! I hope the 5th starter actually wins us a game! If he at least lasts 6 innings and keeps us in the game (assuming we have some offense that day), I'd be more than happy.

2004 Draft Finishes w/Position & School Breakdown
Good article! Thanx for the info on some of the 2nd day picks. By the way, Is Kenny's son any good or was he just drafted b/c he's our GM's son, and where is he going to college? ( i doubt he'll actually sign)

Gio Gonzalez to Sign on Friday
I'm really excited about this kid! I can't wait to see where he starts and how he does (assuming he does sign and it sounds like he will)!

White Sox Draft Fields In the 1st
I really love this pick! This is the guy that I wanted the whole time.
