Congrats to B-Mac and Brice (although he prob. won't play). They both are more than deserving to be named all-stars. Is this game gonna be on t.v. at all like the AAA and AA all-star games are?

Nobody has said anything about Smith's 7 rbi's. I mean, I know he's not a prospect, but still, he deserves some props for having 7 rbi's in one game.

I expect the Sox to sign the rest of our Top 10 picks since they're all college guys, and I think that Garry Bakker (11) and Jacob Wild (17) will also sign. After that, I have no idea, but I expect a couple of those later picks to be draft and follows.

I'm just glad that I'm not a big Hawks fan like I am Sox, Bears, and Bulls. Team management for the Sox, Bears, and Bulls seems to piss me off at one time or another, but from what I've heard, Hawks managment is even worse. I couldn't stand being a Hawks fan w/ their shotty managment. Just think of how good the Hawks would be if they didn't get rid of practically all their good players.

Speaking of Jim Rome... I love that clip from the ESPN show that Rome had where his guest flipped the table over, threw Rome on the ground, and started punching him. I'm blanking right now on who the guest was, but he has the same last name as some woman tennis player and Rome kept calling him by the first name of that woman tennis player to piss him off.

yeah, but it's kinda hard to dominate when you're constantly double- and triple-teamed. That being said, I don't think anyone has the right to hold out; these guys are rookies in the NFL and I can't imagine the respect that they lose from the veterans b/c when they hold out.

I wouldn't mind getting Contreras, but we couldn't give up anyone that's really that good, and it would have to be b/c he has some problem w/ his mechanics that we could fix. However, I would rather make this trade, if we're gonna make it, after this year b/c I don't think we really have time to be trying to fix someone's mechanics right in the middle of the season. I think the offseason would be better for that. Lastly, another bad thing about Contreras is that he's 33 years old. All that being said, I'd rather just stay away from Contreras.
