Our manager let a pitcher bark in the dugout and he allowed him to start the 8th. Konerko isn't moving from the spot until he falls over dead.
A good description of his recent swings.

Trade.... With the Cubs...? Blasphemy! I'd rather castrate myself than do such a thing!
Karchner for Garland worked out well.
QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 15, 2012 -> 02:22 PM)
It'd be nice to use this as an excuse to give PK a couple days off or something.
Agreed, he's been 2002 Paulie of late.
QUOTE (Sockin @ Jul 15, 2012 -> 02:00 PM)
Castro pulled after 3 scoreless innings today. Might be starting on Wednesday.
Love it, if true. Can't wait to see the new Count.

Leadoff homer for Austin Jackson with Verlander pitching
JV not the same guy this year - he been Boobnotized!
Honestly, I think he's due for a dominant shutout.

This is the risk this White Sox team has to take in order to contend. Their margin for error doesn't allow it to be different. You want to hold on to Viciedo? This is part of that price.
Sucks to wake up to this Floyd news, but the above: GMAFB

The Cubs already have a slightly better version of Jared Mitchell.

BJax has an even more alarming K rate and plays in a ridiculous hitter's league, whereas Mitchell is doing it in pitcher-friendly B'Ham.
After last year's relief appearance v Washington debacle, you'd think they'd have learned a lesson. Jake needs to have his bulldog priveleges neutered.
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 14, 2012 -> 07:47 PM)
Come on, get him out of there. Sox are going to need Peavy during the 2nd half, and having him go 120 pitches in starts is just asking him to wear down.
Amen. Ridiculous.
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 14, 2012 -> 07:11 PM)
I'd rather have Jake stay in than Matty. Don't know the pitch count, though.
Need to check yesterday's box to see who's relatively fresh.
Some veteran backup C is bound to be released in the next few weeks when a non-contender calls up a youngster, I would think. I suppose I prefer waiting, if Phegley is the next option.

Tyler Flowers.
Kinda sucks that we can't ever really give AJ a day off if the game is close. I've seen enough of him tonight, how bout ya'll?
