pitchers should just load the bases against the Sox. opponents ERA when the Sox have the bases juiced has gotta be pretty low.

The White Sox have had 5 managers in the last 12 years.
I would say it's pretty safe to assume Grifol will probably be gone in 3 years.

Look at the list for: Cleveland, KC, and Minnesota over the same time span. Sox have CLEARLY had an issue with burning through managers. I don't give a s%*# how you include Ozzie/Cooper, the point still stands on the data and the data is clear cut.

Thread title says it all. I wonder how hard it would be for any team to succeed when there's a new coach every 2.4 years on average. I could've said 6 managers if I wanted to split hairs.

Jose Abreu in Houston thread
They let our best hitter and clubhouse leader and possibly (?) the cog that drives the Cuban Pipeline to Chicago go to a team that has absolutely crushed us in recent years yes he's older, he's slower, and based on fWAR (especially last year) not worth 20/yr but imo he's gonna bounce back and have a great year in Houston, his early numbers aren't concerning at all to me. I'd rather have Abreu at DH than a guy who plays 100 games a year.

This team is going to lose 90 plus games...
holy f***, lol. gonna need more than billboards and funny signs to fix this. cancelling season tix and not going to games is a start

Ghost Runner Rule
well if you're the home team, you wouldn't walk the first batter because obvious they could put up a crooked number before your first AB.. obviously as the away team you could use this strategy, especially if you're up after the top half of the inning. makes no sense why the away team wouldnt do this. which means the Sox won't do it.

expecting an entirely new offensive approach to what they had ingrained into them the last 2 years with Menechino is a fools errand, they're a singles/doubles hitting lineup. at least Robert seems to have his power stroke.

4/12 - Sox @ Twins: Let’s Win the Series
it's a damn shame that Lucas finally has a decent outing (granted this Twins team is flat out bad offensively) and he's likely to get the L just like Kopech it's so obvious that Sox hitters just don't have the right tools and information that other teams provide to their players. shameful.

Oscar Colas is good
Been pleasantly surprised with Colas so far. Was not expecting this from him so far. Is anyone else surprised by his all around play so far or was this to be expected? deserves a thread imo 0.1 fWAR with a 159 WRC+ as of yesterday
