  1. anybody who would replenish the farm system with the most amount of talent Giolito, and Lynn should be on the block for sure, I would say TA7 also but I feel like they're gonna lock him up just so they can say "See? We spent the money"
  2. the haul they could get for Lynn and giolito would be amazing
  3. Giolito will be traded next year imo
  4. two completely different types of organizations, sox can trade/sign whatever players they want, the fish rots from the head down
  5. you people are still holding out hope for this dogshit team? time to read the tea leaves
  6. As someone who voted for Bernie twice, I say this with all due respect, Bernie Sanders wiped out Bernie.
  7. Hahn is going to sacrifice the future of this team to save his own ass, fucking great
  8. I would absolutely tear it down but only if the entire front office was replaced first.
  9. that's a great point, you never wanna predict health throughout a season but the way it's gone since 2020, you can basically pencil in a long list of core guys who are gonna miss significant (3 wks or more) time
  10. electoral politics aren't going to save anyone. everytime societal change has happened, it was because a huge grass roots movement was behind it and politicians had no choice but to get in line. nothing is gonna change until mass protests happen and people get in the streets. begging politicians nicely on twitter does jack shit except waste time
  11. management and coaching, absolutely
  12. new hitting coach won't change these guys in 1 season, this is who they are, and the league has scouted them to perfection. menechino still should be fired but his replacement isn't going to solve these problems until the guys have had a chance to unlearn whatever Menechino has been teaching
  13. reminds me of Cease last year, gave up 2 or more runs in like 9 straight games
  14. I don't trust this team to properly evaluate either of these guys injuries or progress, I fully expect at least one of them to get hurt significantly within 4-6 weeks after coming back
  15. it's almost like this team has been run for the last 10-12 years to tread water but never fully do what it takes to get to that next step. so many questionable decisions made by the top execs/owner that in a vacuum look like head scratchers but when you look at them all combined it's just looks .... bad? I guess is the least cynical way to describe it. mostly started after Ozzie was replaced, hiring Ventura should've brought much more criticism from the fans and sports media than it got, then replacing him with Renteria, while not as bad was still horrible. Then TLR over other much more desirable guys who were reported to be available. Then look at how the minor leagues have been run, Chris Getz? People aren't making a big enough deal about some of these moves imo
  16. reading Jay Cuda's twitter for the last hour, if anyone thinks this Sox team is winning the division, you're out of your mind, they are toast
  17. been saying this for years, nothing will change until a complete organizational tear down happens
  18. if the Sox were actually good, this wouldn't even be news, sadly this is all there is to talk about with this dog shit team ?
  19. I've wondered how he's been physically since slamming into the brick wall in that cubs game
  20. how the hell is this team .500 lol
  21. lmaoooooo 3-0 pitch
