What an odd start time.

Anyway, has anyone started three game threads in a row since the start of 2024? This feels like a record.

Just recently on May 1, 2, 3. We’re awesome now!

This team being .500 over their last 12 games or whatever feels like they're at the top of the division compared to what we've seen for the last year.

6:14 is to honor Pete Rose. I have my own opinions on that. Never cared for him as a player or as a gambler, but to each their own.

Ewwww

They actually had an 11-8  run right about this same time last year . Started in April ended in May .

That's right - think they swept the Rays during that.

Take us on a roll through the Cubby series and really set a modern day gamethread record!!!

Can we please get a good game from Martin today?? Not an okay game, a GOOD game.  Please.

He was my predicted Sox all-star coming out of spring training; and so far, he has been underwhelming.

He does have 3 starts (out of 8) this year where he has given up zero earned runs. And one other game where he gave up 1 earned run.

His ERA is 4.01. So that means if he's had four good games, he's also had some real clunkers, including his last two.

I wouldn’t call 4 earned runs and 3 earned runs “real clunkers”.  He’s had one real clunker, when he gave up 7 ER against the Tigers early in the year.

That's about the best lineup we can trot out. Looks mildly competitive perhaps.

Looks like a powerhouse if you squint.

Twins 23-20

Orioles 15-26  -70 rs/ra

White Sox 13-29  -31

Who wouldn't take Mike Elias as GM to balance the hitting with the young pitching, though?

Even guys like Kyle Stowers and Ortiz last year in MIL have been quite useful pieces.

4 is actually not a bad starters ERA. Not great like you're looking for .How's 2 runs in 6 innings today sound to you ?

Seems like Mike Elias sucks to me.
