Jermaine Dye is an MVP candidate? REALLY? LOL The way this team has played since Quentin went down, CQ is undoubtably the most valuable player in the AL (IMO) But the award isn't really about who the most valuable player is, it's generally who the "best" player is, and a player who doesnt finish the season can't really qualify for it But it'd be hard to argue that Quentin wasn't the most valuable, even up until the end of the season

damn mark has owned mauer over his whole career 2003-2007 mauer has a .222 average vs buehrle he has no hits this year off our crafty lefty mauer has 21 total at bats vs mark, with a .190 average (4 for 21) morneau has a career .240 average against mark (11 for 45)
