TBS the next two Sundays
QUOTE (WilliamTell @ Aug 30, 2008 -> 01:58 PM) That will be 3 TBS Sundays in a row since the Rays played last time. This means I get another blacked out game. imagine living in Illinois, and instead of getting the ILLINOIS TEAM (SOX), you got the MISSOURI TEAM (Cards) f***ing hilarious.

Sox vs Carmines
QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Aug 30, 2008 -> 09:17 PM) We sure need something done differently. We can't afford this type of play at this point in the season. Our pitchers have allowed 27 runs in 3 games and we score 5. I watched tonights game on WGN and it was pretty pathetic. Buerhle got bounced around again and I mean he was hit hard. Sunday is a must win. Hopefully Floyd shows up unlike our last theee starters his 86-87mph isn't fooling anyone anymore, though i'm sure there are other issues w/ him right now as well

Sox vs Carmines
this team looks like they're just going through the motions against these top-end teams (boston and tampa specifically), they looked pretty bad against baltimore too on that 3rd game of the series) back to back to back games allowing 8 runs, they need to get their f***ing heads straight, this is bulls*** playing like they just wanna get it overwith, yeah you'll go far with that.

White Sox @ Red Sox 8-29
uribe played damn good D at 3rd base, let crede alternate at DH with Thome against lefties, you could also alternate Crede/Griffey at DH on Jim's days off... just throwing ideas around none of this will happen though edit: that wouldn't work, i think my sister hits left-handers better than Joe does.. blah. just a bad situation.

Loser, yo!
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Aug 29, 2008 -> 07:58 PM) Well to be fair he has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season, it wasn't exactly a case of Cy-Mays or Cy-Nonameasshat. Didn't really expect to win this one, lets just hope the offense shows up against Bowden tomorrow night. i won't disagree with anything you said. it was a bad matchup from the very beginning. allowed 10 HR all year, facing a team that lives and dies by the homerun i'm still upset with the lack of base hits, and overall lack of patience at the plate facing a guy who walks a ton of guys. our hitters always seem to be of the mindset that the pitcher is always going to strike them out unless they swing the bat. matsuzaka isn't one of those guys... need to have smarter at-bats. also i would've liked to have seen Javy have a good outing, he was just bad, then really really good, then absolutely brutal.. wtf is up with this guy.

White Sox @ Red Sox 8-29
hopefully crede won't fire boras

Loser, yo!
Cy-K Matsuzaka dominates us once again. Sad.

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 29, 2008 -> 06:48 PM) Don't we have something like 18 games left against teams above .500, the most in baseball? something like that, though my comment had nothing to do w/ our remaining schedule

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Aug 29, 2008 -> 06:46 PM) that,my freind is where we are fukked,we can t hit dice k nor Beckett, damn,he's mowing down our hitters, don t quite get how dice k is so hard to hit he has like 4 or 5 pitches, you basically have to guess right, or... god forbid understand the count and anticipate if the next pitch is going to be a ball or strike dice-k is known for walking a lot of batters, more often than not if you're in an 0-2 count, he'll throw junk or fastballs out of the zone/busted inside, until you work him to 3-2 and then.. he'll bring the heat (95mph fastball to paulie on 3-2, called.)

White Sox @ Red Sox 8-29
at least we have a winning record against the bad teams?

White Sox @ Red Sox 8-29
2-0 as farmer says "A bloop and a blast" is what we need

QUOTE (jphat007 @ Aug 29, 2008 -> 06:23 PM) I think we will need to score some runs to win this game. it'd be nice to string some hits together but Dice-K seems to know exactly what the weaknesses of our hitters are

White Sox @ Red Sox 8-29
daisuke is going to probably throw a complete game at this point, or pretty close if we don't clobber some longballs here shortly, this game is pretty much over imo
-
White Sox @ Red Sox 8-29
if we can't hit homeruns, we dont win as proven all season long we need some guys to step up.
-
White Sox @ Red Sox 8-29
this team is funny.

White Sox @ Red Sox 8-29

QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Aug 29, 2008 -> 05:38 PM) Let me propose this. Some of those plays Joe is diving on Juan was making without the diving. I just think Uribe can read the ball off the bat a bit better than Joe can, which gives him better jumps

OMG @ THAT 0-2 STRIKE TO SWISHER. WOW.

White Sox @ Red Sox 8-29
QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Aug 29, 2008 -> 05:16 PM) The Boston announcers totally missed what a horrible play that was by Crede. What is Hawk saying??? it was DJ that commented on it, he said "That ball has to come to the plate" which is 100% true
-
White Sox @ Red Sox 8-29
wow, 1 run after bases juiced 0 outs? this is not the same boston team as last year, that's for sure.
-
White Sox @ Red Sox 8-29
POP UP, can we get the 3rd out before letting a run score?
-
White Sox @ Red Sox 8-29
crede is a f***ing moron. get uribe out there.
-
White Sox @ Red Sox 8-29
popup would be nice, but we never get those breaks

White Sox @ Red Sox 8-29
1-2 curveball when he hasn't thrown that pitch a single time, and somehow ortiz knew it was coming.
