In real time I thought he didn't take a knee yet. On replay he did, but it was closer than it needed to be. -

QBs deserve that for that stupid delayed knee. The announcers were up in arms over it. Tell Henne to take the f***ing knee and don't be a prick. Either way Michigan sucks this year. You don't beat San Diego St. by 3 at home if you want to wear those jerseys. Also, Illinois leads WMU 20-13 at half. NU is tied with Kansas 3-3 at half. Iowa State completes the comeback against NIU, the 2 pt conversion makes it 34-34. Somewhere Heads is smiling. -

I'm not gonna argue about the quality of the game, but NU usually has extremely high scoring games so this isn't typical. -

Scoreless after one between NU and KU, but what's interesting about it is that the teams have combined for -7 rushing yards in the first quarter with 6 penalties. -
I think it's pretty obvious that he needs to be a starter in W-S next season. I'm expecting him to do well early enough and find himself in Birmingham around the all-star break, but that's another story.

Michigan grabs the lead 24-21, but it's still a ballgame. Illinois blew their lead it's 7-7 against Western Michigan. Northwestern scoreless against Kansas so far in Evanston. NU is driving inside the KU 30. Neither the Illinois or NU game is on tv so I got ESPN Gamecast for the KU-NU game with radio from 720 AM. I got Yahoo Gamechannel on the Illinois game. -
I cried when the 2000 Sox got swept on that f***ing bunt play. I was young and I really thought that team would do it. I just wanted to see the Sox win a playoff game and bask in the media coverage of it. I didn't even get that.

I have no problem with the Twins other than the fact that they are in our division. I have much more against the other f***ers in town.

If it's either Konerko or ElCaballo that has to go

Wouldn't Carlos just be Carl? Anyway, Lee is too damn stupid. Konerko over that stupid ass any day of the week. Lee could be so much f***ing more if he had a god damn brain. -
You'd think it would, but I doubt it.

That one. It's more clear that he will be in Birmingham, but some apparently want him in Winston-Salem.

I thought you took stats last year? :puke

I say they are good when you keep at least 5 players. I hate leagues where you keep like 2 guys. What's the f***ing point?

The funny thing is that my first reaction was it was a clever title having to do with cards. Then I realized that that would be stupid. Then I thought about the sexual reference. Then I actually read the thread. I'm worried sex wasn't first.

New douchebag got lucky hand: I'm playing online. It was a pokerroom.com tourney. I was in the final 3 of 10. I got ace queen offsuit. I double the blind. The guy after me (short stack of the table) bets over half his chips. The 3rd guy (80% of the chips at the table) raises him all in, which was about 1/4 of my chips. I call, the short stack calls. Flop comes q 10 7. So I raise all in and get called by the chip leader. Turns out the other all in guy also had ace queen off suit. The chip leader called with 10 3 suited. So let's rewind a bit. He saw a raise and re-raise in front of him and re-raised with 10 3 suited....then he calls an all in with a pair of 10s, 2nd pair. Gets a 3 on the river...ballgame. That's embarrasing for the game of poker.

Bullpen followed by contact hitters.

I was thinking Gio, Lumsden, Whisler, and I'm sure a couple others will come to mind. I don't see how you could put Young anywhere but W-S, but if there is a debate about it we can have a poll.

Gagne is going nowhere.

I decided that Fields' stats need to be here since that would help people vote. Season long stats: .285 avg, .333 obp, .445 slg, .778 ops, 12 2B, 4 3B, 7 HR, 39 RBI, 36 R, 18 BB, 74 K in 66 games. I believe he has adjusted. Since July 21 he posted a .342 batting average over 155 at bats. In those final 40 games (not including playoffs) he had 7 2B, 4 3B, 4 HR, 29 RBI, 21 runs, 9 walks, 36 strikeouts.

Yeah Luongo is sick. The Panthers really need to get their act together for his sake.

An easier question than BMac's, but still debatable.

49ers. I'm not risking picking the Bears in a rivalry game.

I'm gonna agree with ya, but I have to say I've played with enough crappy players that I'm used to it. It's worse when you put a guy all-in or you are all-in and the guy is plain beat. The douche gets lucky. One of my "favorite" hands of all-time... I was playing a 10 or 12 person tourney (don't remember). At this point it was down to I believe 6 people at this point, I don't remember exactly. I was in a solid chip position, not chip leader, but no need to go all-in or anything. I was getting a run of unbelievable pocket cards and was raising pre flop every time. Others were laughing, swearing I was bluffing at least once or twice. Anyway I get dealt A J and again raise pre flop. I got a few callers. Flop comes K Q 10 with 2 hearts. I have the nuts at the time. I'm basically crapping my pants and raise $1. The chip average was $10 because half the people were out and we started with $5 in chips each. I was above average in chips so that was a solid bet, but nothing outrageous to this point in time. Anyway, the next guy raises to $2 and the guy behind him calls quickly. Everyone else who was in (don't remember how many were in at the time) folded. I continue to basically crap my pants. I figure I have the nuts, I know I'm at least a 80% favorite in this hand so I go all-in. Everyone is going crazy at this point. The guy who raised me called and the next folded with a nut flush draw. My caller had 2 pair Kings and Queens. Next card: a motherf***ing K. Full house, it's over. I lose. I had more chips than him, so I was still alive but didn't have enough to do any damage. Just thinking about that hand kills me. Oddly enough the guy who folded the nut flush draw would have made it, and still lost.

That would be cool because I like the Wolves. I'd like to see some NHL guys go to the AHL. I'm not a hockey fan, but I like the AHL and would like to see those franchises do well.
