That's cards though. I can actually understand a couple of the calls. The guys don't know they are down to less than 10 outs. If you bet heavy and they get lucky that's more annoying. When you only had top pair (which I'd bet on the flop every time except for when the flop is suited) that can easily be beat.

He will be pitching in minor league ST in Arizona. So whether he is with the big league team or not, he is pitching ST in Arizona.

They have a chance this year, but a lot of things have to go right. Thompson has to match expectations, Doyle needs to be his solid backup. A couple of the freshman need to step up and contribute some. I like Brandon Lee, he was a solid pickup. He can give the Cats a backup PG for the first time ever and I think he is a good sleeper because he was on a stacked Peoria Central team as well as playing 2nd banana to Shaun Livingston. Not only do they need that to happen, but they need to gel and overcome no Thompson early. I wouldn't be surprised if they fall flat on their faces this year. They could also live up to potential a year ahead of schedule and make the tourney. However, when all is said and done the Cats will probably be in the NIT (which in it's own is a victory, lol) and hopefully the tourney next year.

What no Northwestern on the list?

I thought it would be a cool idea for this board in the offseason would be to have polls on where certain prospects should start next season. The best discussions on this board are about prospects eta, when they should be promoted, etc. I personally say Charlotte, but I wouldn't mind seeing him in Birmingham. I think the AFL will be a good experience for him to get more time against comprible AA hitters. As Tex says in his polls:

Facility wise I think TEP is better because of the practice fields. However, it would be cool as hell for the Sox to be in Tempe because the hotel I stayed at this year is literally right next door to Diablo. Plus the fact that Tucson is a long ass, boring drive from the Pheonix area. My problem with Pheonix is that everything closes at 10. We tried eating late almost everyday we were there, no dice. All that's open is bars (most without serving food at that time). I remember going to Uno's at ASU, and it wasn't near as good as the ones around here. Way to be creative huh?
